Classes are typically eight weeks long, but this Groupon can be applied toward four consecutive weeks of classes and includes the registration fee.
Noah's Art believes that inside each child lies the soul of an artist whose talents must be nurtured and developed through creative expression. A mural-sized selection of weekly classes gives children of all ages the chance to channel their artistic impulses onto mediums other than the blank canvases of kitchen walls and diapers. The South Park location offers a toddler/parent art class for wee ones under two and their minders ($50). Both studios host classes for tenacious two-year-olds and caregivers, including an animals class ($50) in which young Jane and Jack Goodalls will produce unique creations based on different aspects of the animal kingdom. The 3D art class for three- and four-year-olds ($57.50) allows kids to create three-dimensional robots, rainbows, and flowers that can be viewed without dorky glasses or an overpriced ticket. Art Around the World takes budding old people aged five to ten on a creative journey through the artistic cultures of Africa, Asia, Native Americans, and more.
All children are welcome at Noah's Art classes regardless of experience. The impressive student-to-teacher ratio ensures that each aspiring Picasso and O'Keefe is nurtured to his or her fullest potential. The $20 registration and supply fee is included with this Groupon, and your young Pollocks will be provided with splatter-proof smocks so that they may explore the trajectory of temperas uninhibited. Toddler and two-year-old classes require the presence of a caregiver. Groupon only valid at purchased location.
Reviews are limited for Noah's Art, but three InsiderPagers reviewers give the studio a four-star average:
In a handful of studios scattered between Charlotte, North Carolina, and Springfield, Missouri, kids express their artistic creativity under the friendly supervision of Noah’s Art instructors. Classes cover a wide variety of topics—from painting and clay sculpture to vocals-based Song Art—and are arranged by age group, allowing children to interact with peers of a similar developmental stage while engaging in philosophical musings on the meaning of parent-enforced time-outs. Instructors also teach basic art tools and techniques, such as how to properly hold a paintbrush or sculpt clay using only your mind.
