What You'll Get
Dining on regional cuisine gives us a glimpse of another culture, which is why everyone knows that Italians enjoy robust sauces and freezers love popsicles and ice cubes. Glimpse distant tastes with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of American-European fusion fare at Noosa Bistro in Mentor.
While Noosa Bistro's bartenders shake up more than 75 martinis, chefs work with nets full of seafood, enlivening meats with spices and sauces for fine dining with a Mediterranean and European flair. The dinner menu opens with ocean-grown edibles, from the platters of mussels ($11) to the calamari ($10), which comes wrapped in a cardigan of ginger snaps and packs its purse with marinara, lemon aioli, and extra bubble gum for friends. While preparing the rack of lamb ($25), chefs simmer the meat in a port-rosemary mix until they've created a piquant sauce and then garnish the plate with a scoop of mushroom risotto and a dollop of mint-yogurt sauce. An encyclopedic array of martinis, including the Pear Sunset ($8.50), which unites a quartet of pear vodka, grenadine, and orange and cranberry juices, adds a twist to any meal and inspires grown men to change their middle name to "Tini."
Though seemingly innocuous, Noosa Bistro's brick-paved outdoor patio's attractive glass-top tables and perky umbrellas actually conspire to trap eaters in a state of helpless leisure. Inside, white tablecloths and understated décor keep diners focused on feasting and family.

About Noosa Bistro
On the shady patio or inside the low-key, date-friendly dining room, visitors to Noosa Bistro can kick off their experience with one of more than 75 martinis from the vast, boozy list. Open for both lunch and dinner, the menus span an eclectic selection of European–influenced American dishes, ranging from pan-seared scallops to petite fillets, cooked to order and served with a petite fork on a petite plate. Like the martini list, the wine menu spans an impressive length and includes such interesting bottles as a 40-year-old port.
