About A Chat with North Georgia Equine Group

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
NGEG offers horsemanship enrichment classes for age 8 +. We are dedicated to provide a well-rounded horse education, including beginner basic riding skills, in a careful, correct & confident way. Our classes include educational information as well as time to apply new knowledge, hands on the horse.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
NGEG was inspired to offer Home School Enrichment Classes; we have added a Saturday class for those who are in school during the week. With a broad knowledge of horses, students are able to fully enjoy and learn about horses! Professional guest lecturers will be scheduled!

What do you love most about your job?
We love the horses and to witness beginners bond with these gentle giants. Teaching beginner children and adults to properly handle and ride horses in a proficient and compassionate manner is rewarding beyond words.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
A parent of a timid 12 year old child told me that her son was doing so well at school making friends and being more willing to speak in class. She said that the horses taught him to be confident. He was so proud of himself for grooming, leading and riding a 1000 pound horse!
