Open for the summer season from May 28 to September 5, North Shore Aquatic Center hosts a coterie of amusing active pursuits for water-inclined kids and adults alike. A sinuous standalone slide ferries its charges on an expeditious stream of water, twisting and turning before spitting giggling kids back into the pool. North Shore's vast pool presents a colorful jungle gym as an alpine centerpiece. Children commune with their inner amphibians by clambering atop the vibrant structure, swishing down thrilling slides, and frolicking like giddy aqua-deer as fountains of all kinds spurt hydration into the atmosphere. Both low and high boards test divers’ courage, skill, and artificial wing designs. An assortment of fitness programs, including Latin-inspired, dance-fitness Zumba classes, helps keep hydrophiles in top swimming shape.

About North Shore Aquatic Center
Open Memorial Day through Labor Day, North Shore Aquatic Center features a pool, waterslides, swim lessons, and other water-related diversions to stoke family-friendly fun all summer long. In the center of a shallow pool, a brightly colored jungle gym invites young hydrophiles to unleash their inner amphibians on its slides and spraying fountains. Elsewhere, a sinuous powder-blue standalone slide whisks giggling riders along its curves and bends before jettisoning them out into the pool, while both high and low diving boards test courage and cannonball splash trajectories. North Shore also holds lifeguard classes, a variety of water exercise and fitness programs which impart the basics of paddling and mermaid sign language.
