Nearsightedness impairs one’s ability to drive, read, and make the crucial distinction between truth serum and chocolate milk. Guard your secrets with today’s Groupon: for $49, you get a pair of single-vision lenses at Opt Eyewear Boutique (a $99 value).

Opt Eyewear Boutique adorns soul windows with the latest and finest in frame fashion and element-resistant lenses, with a knowledgeable staff always on hand to guide customers through the spectacle. Bring in a pair of frames to fill with scratch-repellent polycarbonate lenses. These double monocles are made at the client’s behest and delivered in one to three weeks, complete with antiglare coating to protect sensitive eyes during excursions through the brightly lit and excessively reflective local mirror district.

Expertly designed by Kyla Coburn, Opt Eyewear Boutique’s sleek show room boasts wooden floor that complements the soft white, cream, and chocolate tones under plentiful ambient lighting. Though not covered by this Groupon, Opt Eyewear Boutique also carries a medley of high-fashion frames crafted by David Yurman, Porsche, Ray Ban, and other designers.

Opt Eyewear Boutique

Owners Jed and Jessica Leach established Opt Eyewear Boutique in 2010, and set out to bring luxury sunglasses, frames, and lenses from all corners of the globe back to their Providence shop. Their ever-growing stock includes eyewear from renowned brand names—such as Prada, Lafont, and Ted Baker—as well as the latest styles from independent manufacturers. Most recently, they’ve shifted their focus back onto regional soil, carrying products crafted by local students and startup companies such as Arborglass. They help shoppers navigate the selection inside their newly renovated store, decorated with sleek wood floors and mod white furnishings that recall boutiques found sprinkled across London and the inside of Martha Stewart’s mind.
