Paintball is like a production of Hamlet: it's exciting, demanding, and by the end everyone has pretend-died. Bear the slings and arrows of outrageous splatter with today's deal: for $19, you get a full day of paint-based action at Orlando Paintball, an indoor/outdoor facility located on Rose Avenue. Your package includes all-day admission, equipment, and a free pizza slice (up to a $49.95 value).
This veritable citadel of colorful games contains four outdoor playing fields and two giant indoor warehouses. With today's Groupon, you get access to the best this paintball megaplex has to offer: the super semi-auto package. This package contains everything you need to get through the day unscathed: all-day admission, a mask, gun plug, unlimited air reloads, a hi-rate hopper and sniper barrel for even faster firing, 200 paintballs, and an ammo-pack holder. All sorts of mini-scenario games go down on the paint-drenched battlegrounds, including SWAT vs. Convicts, Aliens, Nuclear Meltdown, and other high-adrenaline concept scenarios that bend the mind, work the body, and entertain the senses. Every player gets one free slice of pizza during the day to refuel sustenance-deprived battle nodes.
Paintball enables players to bond with friends and take out primal aggressions carefully repressed by our law-abiding, anti-paint society. The outdoor fields are in constant flux, and the two warehouses have static themes. The first warehouse is ultra-futuristic, coated in metal props that evoke the cold, alien landscapes of planets such as Super Pluto and Neo Berlinatron. The second warehouse has an urban theme, with tunnel mazes, staircases, corner-laden rooms, and protective bunkers. This second warehouse is the home of the real Orlando Police SWAT team, where the trained professionals practice actual battle tactics.
Whatever the motivation, grab some friends, coworkers, meek relatives, or surprised strangers and make a reservation for a day of strategy-testing artistic funterror at Orlando Paintball.
Though Orlando Paintball sometimes offers specials online, this Groupon is still the best deal around.

A group of escaped convicts is hiding out in an abandoned warehouse, using its labyrinth-like corridors to hide their illegal activities from the police. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to retake the warehouse while defending yourself from their volleys of multicolored paintballs. The catch? You only have 10 minutes. Orlando Paintball's intense SWAT vs. Convicts scenario has proven so realistic that Orlando’s own SWAT group regularly uses the warehouse facility for training.
That warehouse is only one of Orlando Paintball's six arenas, which include another indoor facility and four outdoor fields littered with wooden barriers, bridges, and fallen trees. These arenas constantly evolve to keep players on their toes at all times. Among the recently updated arenas is an outdoor field modeled after the Call of Duty video-game series, complete with a maze of army-camp structures and trees from which squirrels hurl paint grenades. Prepare for battle by strapping on a safety mask, renting an electronic or mechanical paintball gun, and scarfing down a free slice of pizza.
