About P.S. Pizza Shop
Generally speaking, anything preceded by "P.S." is an afterthought. But P.S. Pizza Shop is hardly a throwaway pizzeria. They take pie very seriously, coming in each morning to make fresh dough that's hand-tossed for every pizza. These Neapolitan–style concoctions are crisped up in a stone oven, yielding a crust that Boro magazine describes as "exceptionally light, buttery, and one of the thinnest around." It's the foundation for 10 artisanal pies, including the Godfather with fontina, brussels-sprout leaves, prosciutto, and roasted garlic.
And pizza's not even the only draw—Chef Joey Spatola also regularly treks up to Montauk for fresh seafood. His hauls are used in everything from lobster rolls and bisque to catch-of-the-day specials. The coastal cuisine matches the dining's room rustic vibe, which features a mixture of knotted-wood tables and screw-top stools.
