Growing up, Pips & Bounce founders Michael and Eugene Jung played plenty of ping pong against each other in their family's basement. In 2012, the brothers decided to take their love of table tennis to another level. Instead of moving their childhood table to the roof, they started organizing pop-up ping pong parties all over Portland. Those parties were a huge success, and with help from a growing throng of fans, Michael and Eugene opened a permanent location in the Grand Central building.

Today, their bright, colorful, and roomy venue buzzes with excitement as players slap and slam shots across a dozen tables. Laughter slices through the party-like atmosphere and upbeat music thumps out the soundtrack for game after game. Between serves, players can stay energized by sipping beer, wine, and handcrafted cocktails. They can also munch on tacos, flat bread pizzas, and other share-worthy snacks, such as nachos, hummus, and cheese platters.
