What You'll Get
Teenagers idolize pizza due to its portable nature and refusal to stay in a box, man. Eat your way to independence with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of pizza and Italian fare at Prosciutto's Pizzeria & Pub in Cornelius.
Prosciutto's Pizzeria & Pub’s menu of New York–style brick-oven pies and specialty pastas has helped it garner such Citysearch honors as Charlotte's Best Restaurant in 2009 and the city’s Best Italian Food and Best Pizza in 2010. More than 30 toppings ($1.25–$2.25 each) including sliced meatballs, shaved steak, and blue-cheese crumbles decorate house-made dough and sauce to create a 16” pizza ($12.59) fit for devouring or wearing as an earring. The white Florentine pizza’s crackling crust delivers mushrooms, spinach, and feta ($20.09 for a large), and the Mexican taco pizza collects hamburger, olives, and salsa ($21.84 for a large). Homemade pocket bread accompanies such specialty pastas as The Milano, which blankets penne in creamy alfredo, tender grilled chicken, and crispy bacon ($14.59).
Red Sox and Patriots gear clings to the walls of the Boston-themed bar, where NFL Sunday Ticket games beam from 14 televisions so that diners don't have to get the scores later from an encyclopedia. Kids can romp around a designated children's play area complete with toys and video games. Prosciutto's Pizzeria & Pub also hosts live entertainment on Friday, as well as trivia on Wednesday nights that test pop-culture knowledge and clandestine googling skills.

About Prosciutto's Pizzeria & Pub
Prosciutto's Pizzeria & Pub hosts an updated menu of New York–style pizza and Italian fare that earned the establishment Best Pizza and Best Italian Food. To complement the traditional pastas, white pizzas, and pies slathered in daily-made tomato sauce, a lengthy beer and wine list features craft beers, imported brews, and a wealth of red and white wines.
The family-friendly pub and pizzeria is divided in two: The kids side with video games and toys has seceded from an adult section that houses a bar. A warm atmosphere, plenty of TVs, and trivia machines make the veritable gourmet pizza lover's paradise enjoyable for adults and kids alike. Thursday nights host seasonal cornhole tournaments outdoors on the patio, weather permitting.
