Edwards was born in England and has lived in Jamaica, New York and California. When he was 21, he quit his job at a fast-food restaurant to try his hand at comedy. He has appeared on Def Comedy Jam on HBO and on the long-running syndicated Showtime at the Apollo. He was also a cast member on the fifth season of Punk’d on MTV. Edwards’ writing credits include work for Saturday Night Live on NBC, The Lyricist Lounge Show on MTV and The Boondocks for the Cartoon Network.
