What You'll Get
When you draw a crowd on the dance floor, it means you either possess awe-inspiring moves or are a black hole. Become a dance star with today's Groupon: for $30, you get five classes at Pure Barre (a $100 value).
Pure Barre’s founder, Carrie Rezabek Dorr, continuously evolves her dance-inspired workout regimen, relying on a ballet barre and traditional routines to support body-lengthening moves set to music. Each 60-minute session flows through a series of precise, isometric movements that separately target the thighs, the seat, and the abdominals while protecting joints. Exercisers stretch after each set, staving off bulky muscles and ushering in lean ones that more easily fit into overhead storage bins.
Although it draws inspiration from ballet, Pure Barre does not require students to have any previous dance experience, and small class sizes ensure ample instructor attention. Many regular attendees note the emergence of lean, toned muscle, as well as enough of a gravity-defying lift in the thighs, abs, and arms to make Isaac Newton question his entire career. Check Pure Barre's schedule for a full list of sessions that meet in the early morning, the afternoon, and the early evening.

About Pure Barre
Beginning in 2001 as a small fitness operation in the basement of an office building, Pure Barre has since blossomed into a widely acclaimed, widely publicized approach to exercise with a nationwide following. Dancer, choreographer, and fitness buff Carrie Rezabek Dorr founded Pure Barre more than a decade ago in Birmingham, MI. Performing the Pure Barre technique can be a fast and effective way to transform your body. Motivating music slices through the 60-minute workouts, each of which utilizes a ballet barre and small isometric movements designed to burn fat and tone muscles.
