What You'll Get
Though American highways offer easy driving, speedy travel, and smooth surfaces, they lack the excitement of drag racing a yeti. Roam untamed terrain with today's Groupon: for $49, you get a dune-buggy experience for two at Revolution, The Off-Road Experience in Clermont (a $112.35 value).
During the dune-buggy experience motorists strap into a Can Am Commander X to zoom up to 50 miles an hour for five laps around the two-mile track, a loop of varied terrain loaded with obstacles designed to thrill drivers of all levels. The off-road excursion begins with a safety lesson where drivers receive their safety equipment before manning the wheel for a guided lap behind an instructor, which is followed by four unguided laps. Following the training period, riders are unleashed upon the backs of their all-terrain conveyances to tackle the track. Made of fine sand, the course sends novice riders zipping along even terrain and challenges experienced riders to twist around turns, rev over ridges, and dodge Greco-Roman statuary.
To prevent collision, Revolution allows only two buggies on the track at a time, making for a jubilant driving experience that’s free from rush-hour quagmires. If both riders can operate an automatic transmission, both may take a turn at the wheel.

About Revolution Off Road
A fleet of ATVs and dune buggies carries passengers on wild, pavement-free rides through more than 240 acres of Floridian tropics at Revolution Off Road. Behind the wheel of an 8-wheeled amphibious vehicle called the Mucky Duck, drivers can wheel up man made steps instead of looking for a nearby escalator. Alternately, the company’s local body of water, Revolution Lake, lets adventurers take advantage of 60 acres of sport fishing, where they can catch, photograph, and release specimens such as largemouth bass and croppies.
