Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library

Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum chronicles the life and career of President Reagan on a sprawling, 100-acre Simi Valley campus. The museum's more than 100,000 square feet of exhibits, including an Oval Office replica and President and Mrs. Reagan’s gravesites, draws in history buffs and provides children with an often-interactive primer to America’s 40th president. The audio tour, which is included, allows private immersion in the background of exhibits such as Reagan's actual Air Force One and a piece of the Berlin Wall. Examining all the exhibits usually takes about three hours, though visitors can rest and refuel at the Ronald Reagan Pub housed within the museum, which features sandwiches and beverages.

Be prepared to spend several hours. There is a lovely cafeteria and an outside eating area. The grounds are gorgeous. It's a lovely place to sit outside as well as enjoy the outstanding museum

First impression....beautiful setting with limitless vistas! Picnic tables with a view. Lovely buildings. Attentive staff and docents. Very good exhibits with a lot of space for visitors to walk. I especially wanted to see Spy Exhibit, which was interesting but depressing. Reagan exhibit very well done. My favorite part was Air Force One Pavilion...and what a view! Reagan Exhibits after Air Force One Pavilion are mostly regarding effects of Reagan's politics. I enjoyed seeing Nancy's effect on the White House, and their personal lives. My now-grown daughters met President Reagan as Girl Scouts in Elementary School in his West LA office....UNFORGETTABLE! What a lovely person he was!
