Chefs carefully roll sushi and sear steak at Sake House, artfully plating dishes as visually elaborate as they are delicious. Sushi ranges from the classic, such as salmon with avocado, to the unexpected, like the spicy Crazy Cajun with crawfish. Additional options include hand rolls, sashimi, and sushi boats that showcase fresh fillets and caviar. Over at the hibachi, chefs toss filet mignon and scallops onto a sizzling surface, grilling each morsel to perfection before serving it alongside miso soup and noodles. The chefs' skills in both cooking and putting on a show earned Sake House a rave review in the Oklahoma Gazette.
The kitchen's repertoire of fine Japanse cuisine doesn't end at maki and hibachi entrees, either. Squid salad, soft shell crab, deep-fried aged tofu, and teriyaki chicken are a few other popular favorites—and that's to say nothing of the dessert. Take the ice cream, for example. Available not just in chocolate and vanilla, but in red bean and green tea, the frosty treat is served in a bowl, in a deep-fried crispy shell, or alongside deep-fried banana.
