Salon Snob's owner, Jordyn Olawumi boasts an impressive list of accomplishments: she has worked on photo shoots and fashion shows, styled hair in a posh Gold Coast salon, made an appearance on The Tyra Banks Show, apprenticed under a Vidal Sassoon lead trainer, built a reputation as one of Chicago's top colorists, became a lead stylist at the Palmer House Hilton, and was featured in local and national magazines. And she did this all before turning 25. Today, Jordyn channels her experience and skill into tending to client's manes at her own salon. She transforms her clients' hair with Global Keratin and Amika products, color treatments, and blowouts. She also adds length and volume to hair with She by SoCap hair extensions, and fashions elegant updos for brides or young ladies celebrating their first Sweet 16 party. Jordyn has provided extensive training to her new team, Beauty Designers Ana and Carissa.

But the beautification process doesn't stop at her clients' hair—she and her staff also remove unwanted hair with wax, tend to nails with Shellac polish, and lengthen lashes with extensions, all with the help of an extensively trained team, beauty designers Ana and Carissa.

I chanced upon this while searching on Google and so glad I did. Loved my deep conditioning and hair style experience. Was very relaxing and felt exclusive with the private salon. Ana was terrific, explaining products and services and in suggesting an overall style for my hair. Will definitely be back here

Jordyn is fantastic! I've gotten 3 cuts from her since the first one and every time it has been a great cut. It always grows out well, so I like the cut from the first week to the last.
