What You'll Get
Scuba diving is the only way left to find hidden treasure, befriend a nautical skeleton, or strap a huge tank to yourself. Explore the possibilities with today's Groupon: for $199, you get a scuba-certification class from Scuba Outfitters of Naples (a $449 value).
The experienced instructors at Scuba Outfitters of Naples navigate students through open-water PADI scuba training. Students convene twice a week for three weeks to assimilate essential knowledge on selecting environment-specific equipment, dive planning and execution, and managing unforeseen encounters with documentarians in the water. Night one begins with breathing and underwater maneuvering techniques performed in an on-site, indoor heated pool. The course concludes with an outdoor weekend excursion to the crystalline waters of the Florida Keys. In addition to expert instruction, students garner rental scuba equipment, a student training package, a DVD, a PADI manual, and a logbook. Newly minted scubaists also receive a card to certify their increased standing in the world and finagle discounts at local diners. Personal equipment, such as masks, fins, and snorkels, is not included.

About Scuba Outfitters of Naples
It would take a massive pool to accommodate every diver who's been trained by Scuba Outfitters of Naples. To date, the company's instructors have educated and certified more than 1,000 scuba divers, and their aquatic alumni only continue to grow in numbers. PADI training begins in Scuba Outfitters' heated indoor training pool, where the experts introduce the most fundamental skills, such as how to avoid dissolving. Eventually, the instructors take students to premier diving locations, including the reefs of Key Largo.
