You should offer a deeper discount as the limited services are entirely gone like food trucks and life guards. Please offer me a credit or a groupon discount. Thanks.

Arrive by 745 to pick up your paper boat ticket. Print outs and phone codes don't get you on the boat.

The groupon for the ferry to Sandyhook beach was only for the very early morning time, so keep that in mind. If you cannot wake up early and live too far away from those two piers for the ferry, you shouldn't consider buying this deal. But, it is a very good deal to get to Sandy hook and I loved the beach there!

Get to the ferry a bit early. A line builds up prior to departure.

The Groupon offer should have stated that it was only good for the 8:00 AM departure before purchasing. This was a surprise to learn only after I made the purchase. But the Seastreak experience was quite pleasant.

About Seastreak

Detours. Construction crews. An unwavering gridlock of honking horns. None of these affect the team at Seastreak. They ease work commutes and transportation woes by taking a different road: the water. Seastreak's captains have five high-speed ferries at their disposal, four of which can transport more than 500 passengers at a time. Multiple ships means multiple destinations, and the captains regularly go between Manhattan, New Jersey, Sandy Hook Bay, and Martha's Vineyard, among many other routes.

Each of the double-hulled catamarans has indoor and outdoor decks, which look out on panoramic views of the NYC skyline. The ships also go on formal sightseeing expeditions, cruising towards wonders such as the Hudson River's fall foliage, fireworks over the harbor, and buoys that look like rearing sea serpents if you squint.
