What You'll Get
Unlike mammals, fish can hold their breath underwater for days at a time and won't die if you poke them with a stick. Nab a resilient water creature with today's Groupon: for $120, you get a six-hour salmon fishing charter trip with Seward Fishing Club aboard the 65-foot Rainisong (a $241.43 value).
Docking in Seward Boat Harbor, Seward Fishing Club hooks anglers' interest with comfort-laden fishing charters and the enticing thought of landing a coveted salmon. From mid-June to early September, coho salmon dazzle fishermen with their sequin-embroidered scarves and courageous attempts to remain in the water. The professional, friendly crew outfits each piscator with pro-quality bait and tackle, employing intricate knowledge of the area to keep fish within a line's reach. Fish for salmon while serenading pacific loons from the deck of the luxurious Rainisong, a USCG-certified vessel outfitted with comfortable indoor seats, 16 bunks, two bathrooms, a galley with wood-lined walls, and spacious walk-around decks.
A complimentary continental breakfast accompanies the morning trip (6 a.m.–12 p.m.), and the afternoon trip (1 p.m.–7 p.m.) includes a snack. Seward Fishing Club will clean your fish after the excursion to make sure it doesn't make your stomach dirty when you eat it later; long-distance travelers can have their catch vacuum-packed, frozen, and shipped home for an additional fee.

The boat is also equipped with a coffee latte machine, along with outside seating and two clean restrooms.
