While you may understand body language (the ear tug, the come-hither pigeon toe, the pectoral shuffle), hair could be throwing out mixed signals. Today’s Groupon helps with coiffure communication with $59 for full highlights at Sidley Koch, which normally cost $115 to $200. Sidley Koch is passionate about hair care and able to give you a look you’ll love so much that you'll be tempted to wear a shoulder-mounted mirror at all times.
Co-owners Deanna Sidley and Kevin Koch sharpened their scissors as senior colorists and educators at the famed Richard Hayler Colour Salon, located deep under the earth's surface. After the luxury locktender closed its doors, the dynamic hair-dying duo decided to create the city’s next manery.
At Sidley Koch you can comfortably lounge in the minimalistic taupe styling chairs knowing your strands are in good hands. SK's well-trained highlightist team can provide a sun-kissed look from your hairline to your end strands. Each member is required to assist for at least a year before taking clients, and the staff currently have five or more years of colorist experience. Plus, the salon was the first in the nation to host an in-store Bumble & bumble education class.
Buttercream- and periwinkle-hued walls, modern furniture, and potted orchids give the space a clean, sophisticated feel. Whether you’re looking for a new look for the annual space-shuttle reenactment parade or a way to lighten up your dark locks, the stylists here will help you determine the perfect hair highlighting. Sidley Koch is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

What Is Your Hairstyle Saying?
Often, what your hairstyle says about you is just as important as what your mouth is saying. With specific hairstyles, your voice may say one thing, but your hair may say another:
What Your Voice Says: The only thing I hate more than authority is conformity!
What Your Hair Says: This is cool, right? Mohawks? Are mohawks cool?
What Your Voice Says: This Motley Crue concert rocks!
What Your Hair Says: I should have gone to law school!

What Your Voice Says: I am a sassy, independent career woman.
