Been going to Stack & Folded in Winnetka since it opened and have never been disappointed. Ahi Poke Forked (Salad) today and my friend truly enjoyed her burger w fresh avocado. We can never resist their sweet potato fries; they are > excellent as they are perfectly cooked each time. Evanston is much nicer inside but eating outside during WN sidewalk sale was very nice today with superb food.

About Stacked & Folded

Though it sounds like an upscale laundromat, Stacked & Folded's name refers to its twin menus: one for sandwiches, the other for tacos. Within these parameters the restaurant gets creative, finding inspiration in cuisines around the globe. The Bulgogi Cheesesteak, for instance, marries marinated rib-eye with melted provolone cheese. The ahi tuna poke tacos, meanwhile, switch out the taco shell for a wonton shell, which lends a satisfying crunch to the dish. Sit at the bar to get a front-row view of the prep area, or discuss the origins of each ingredient over wine at one of the two-tops in the front of the house.
