What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
At Sweaty Buddha, our certified instructors combine the wisdom of traditional hot yoga with the latest principles on conditioning and alignment. The studio is heated to 105 degrees which helps to melt away pounds while achieving new levels of strength and flexibility.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
Our beginning classes are both fun and challenging for all fitness levels. Traditional hot yoga will reshape the body from the inside out. Results can be seen and felt in the first month of practice.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I started practicing hot yoga in 1998. From the very first class I felt transformed. Chronic aches disappeared. My asthma is no longer a problem for me. I have seen my students change their lives through this yoga and I wanted to help as many as possible by opening a studio in my hometown.
What do you love most about your job?
I love giving this gift of yoga. Before I started practicing I thought my body was my enemy, something that I needed to overcome. Now I see it as my instrument, in tune with my mind and heart. I love seeing that same "Aha" moment in my students when they realize their bodies are amazing.
