Children ages 4 and younger enter for free. Talladay Farms is open Friday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The haunted maze opens Friday, September 30, and all mazes remain open until Sunday, October 30. The Haunted Maze is open Fridays and Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Talladay Farms’ three artistic mazes, carved out of 27 acres of corn, charm wanderers of all ages with 7.5 miles of pathways. Trail detanglers stride through the two regular mazes, embarking on cross-country trips in the U.S.-shaped maze, and searching for flown-away toupées inside the bald-eagle-shaped maze. Those wary of asking the resident minotaur for directions can scoop up a sealed map for an additional $1 fee and look to the maze’s lettered checkpoints for guidance. Maze completion generally takes 45–75 minutes.
Alternatively, spines craving a hearty tingling can set out into the haunted maze populated by spooky sites and moaning ears of corn. The goosebump-raising maze takes 15–20 minutes to scuttle through and is kept separate from the regular mazes to prevent any cross-contamination of ghosts. Talladay Farms requires that all nighttime navigators illuminate expeditions by either purchasing an LED flashlight on-site or bringing a flashlight from home. Maze-goers are welcome to bring along their leashed pets for four-legged company, while a children’s straw-bale maze (not included in today’s deal) and on-site picnic tables allow for full-family autumnal bonding.
Though Talladay Farms sometimes features a discounted price, this Groupon still represents the best deal available.

About Talladay Farms
Talladay Farms ushers in cool air and the smell of drying leaves with harvest-season festivities near an apple orchard. Each year, staff members chart out complex mazes that illustrate an annual theme—this year, Zoo Animals. There is a snake, tiger, monkey, polar bear, alligator, elephant, hippo, and giraffe —across roughly 7.5 miles of twisting paths carved into 26 rolling acres of golden corn. When they're not meandering through the complex mazes, guests gather around bonfires and picnic tables or head next door to Wasem Fruit Farm's apple orchards and pumpkin patch. As Halloween nears, they convert the twisting and turning paths of one maze into a haunted labyrinth, where actors leap from the rustling dead stalks of corn wearing terrifying masks or shirts with facts about how often paper cuts happen. Conscientious staffers place several checkpoints throughout each maze and hand out maps to keep guests from getting lost.
