Once mastered, chopsticks are the most manageable eating utensils, unlike forks, which get mangled in the dishwasher, or fingers, which get lost in the mouths of teething sock puppets. Eat easily with today's Groupon to Teru Sushi. Choose between the following options.

  • For $22, you get a sushi dinner for two (up to $50 value). The dinner includes:

    • One order of edamame (a $5.50 value)
    • Two specialty sushi rolls (up to an $18 value each)
    • Your choice of either a large carafe of hot sake or dessert (up to an $8.50 value)

  • For $32, you get a sushi dinner for three (up to a $68 value). The dinner includes:

    • One order of edamame (a $5.50 value)
    • Three specialty sushi rolls (up to an $18 value each)
    • A large carafe of hot sake (an $8.50 value)

Since 1979, Teru Sushi has treated diners to a menu of fresh seafood prepared with traditional Japanese recipes and served amid elegant zen-like décor. Prep palates with a dish of steamy edamame before helping chopsticks to specialty rolls such as the Dragon Ball, which disguises a classic california roll in a costume of freshwater eel and avocado. The 911 sets taste buds ablaze by bundling shrimp tempura and avocado with spicy tuna, fanning the flames with even more spicy sauce that yields only to the placating coos of crispy flakes and sweet eel sauce. Rice-free morsels such as the albacore-wrapped Geisha Lips and the cucumber-bundled Twilight roll cater to special diets, while piping hot carafes of sake or a dessert of tempura-fried ice cream balance palates better than a perfectly seasoned triple beam.

Teru's trio of dining rooms fuse traditional Japanese décor with the authentic cuisine, as light wood paneling acts as canvas for the painted lines of a plum-tree mural set above wooden booths. Outside, diners savor Eastern flavors while gazing at a covered Japanese garden, which intermingles pine trees with meandering vines and a waterfall housing harmonizing quartets of pitch-perfect koi.
