I’m not your typical cookie cutter trainer. Before I start training a client, I give them a functional movement system (FMS) assessment, a screening used nationally by athletes to reduce injuries. I then tailor my workouts to each person for not only weight loss, but to make them better and stronger.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
My exercises are designed to not only be effective, but to be fun and challenging.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I have been training people for more than 16 years and I like the feeling I get when I have helped someone achieve their goal—the scrawny kid, the post-pregnant mom, or the person with an injury post rehab. After working for corporate fitness companies, I wanted to go on my own to better serve my clients.
What do you love most about your job?
Empowering people with health and fitness spills over in their personal lives, with families, hobbies, and jobs. This makes life easier and more enjoyable for everyone.
