At Grind Shop Sports Performance Training, guests experience comprehensive, completely customized fitness programs guided by coach Chris Gillam, a trainer with nearly 15 years of experience who also happens to be The Grind Shop's owner. Instead of strolling into the black and white facility and improvising some reps, an exerciser sticks to a personalized, whole-lifestyle program—and if they're an athlete, it'll be a sports-specific program. First, they'll meet with Chris for a consultation, and then he'll record their fitness abilities for a "before" baseline. What follows is not only guided workouts but also education that covers nutrition, recovery, and other pertinent aspects of the journey. Regular reevaluations pepper the following weeks as Chris's rigorous workouts improve overall health.
