What You'll Get
The addition of strings to the piano turned it into the musical instrument we know and love today, instead of just a stage for Europe's furious finger-dancing competitions of yore. Enjoy modern, musical hand dancing with today's Groupon: for $10, you get one general-admission ticket to Piano! Las Vegas at the V Theater, located in the Miracle Mile Shops inside of Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip (a $35 value). Shows run every afternoon at 2:30 p.m., except Fridays.
During performances of Piano! Las Vegas, esteemed show pianist Ryan Ahern surfeits clavichord-craving audiences with a diverse catalog of upbeat music. Broadway show tunes, popular rock 'n' roll hits, and bombastic boogie-woogie spill over the 36,000-square-foot theater as Ahern rapidly enchants crowds with his lightning-quick hands, musical thunder, and occasional subsequent hail storm. When not enhancing his power-plunking with his own vocal stylings, Ahern entertains with vigorous harmonica-play or kinetic dance moves. The performance is entirely family friendly, and attendees should feel free to bring children and prudish fourth cousins along for the rhythmic ride.
The V Theater irrigates thirsty audiences with a full bar and cocktail service, as well as an obliging team of Super Soaker–armed ushers.

About V Theater
Producer and V Theater owner David Saxe was born into Vegas show business, raised by a mother who danced at Les Folies Bergere and a father who led the band for the Rat Pack. Saxe’s V Theater runs its nine concurrent shows in a 40,000-square-foot space divided into four showrooms on multiple floors, each retaining an intimate feeling with seating that brings the audience closer to performers. The V Theater’s current shows range from a seven-act, family-friendly Ultimate Variety Show to Marc Savard’s Comedy Hypnosis, an entertaining act where Savard persuades audience members to hilariously dance, act like animals, and ghostwrite his autobiography.
