What You'll Get
Like a nap during a pie-eating contest, a good rub can add flavor, ease fatigue, or invite aggression from pro-cake demonstrators. Soothe sleepy sinews with today’s Groupon to Lauren Nelson at Touch of Health Muscle Therapy in Lafayette Hill. Choose between the following options:
- For $35, you get a one-hour massage (an $80 value).
- For $99, you get three one-hour massages (a $240 value).
A graduate of the Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy, Lauren Nelson turns down tension levels and subdues stress with four types of massage modalities at her Touch of Health Muscle Therapy center in Lafayette Hill. With myofascial release, deft manipulation of connective tissues frees trigger points from adhesions and restrictions caused by tight muscle bands and their incessant music. The Swedish massage relaxes weary bodies and soothes away aches with long, flowing strokes, whereas sports massages prepare athletes for competition by improving the circulation of oxygen-rich blood, flushing out lactic acid, and increasing flexibility. Lauren tailors therapeutic-massage sessions to each client, using Myofascial release and deep muscle techniques to delve deeply into sore areas or gently herd fatigue out of overcrowded tissues and into a time-share presentation. Clients may upgrade to a hot-stone massage for an additional $30.

About Touch of Health Massage Therapy
A graduate of the Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy, owner and operator Lauren Nelson leads a team of three other muscle therapists, Amy, Brendan, and Linda, as they turn down tension levels and subdue stress at Touch of Health Massage Therapy. Therapeutic, sports, myofascial, Swedish, reiki, shiatsu, and hot-stone massages are all key players in the team's quest to relax the body and relieve tension by quieting tight muscle bands and their incessant rock 'n' roll music. Beyond using massage to treat maladies ranging from fibromyalgia and arthritis to sports injuries and carpal tunnel syndrome, Lauren also completed a muscle-therapy course at Hofstra University with a focus on oncology, allowing her to address the particular therapeutic needs of clients with cancer.
