4th of July Had a wonderful time at the hotel and Judy at the front desk went above my expectations in helping us get a great room last minute. Nice clean rooms, everything was perfect. Hope to stay there again next year for Addison's Kaboom Town. We watched the fireworks from the 14th floor.

“Worst Marriott hotel in history....” Where to start... I’ll just say it: This is the worst representation of a Marriott brand we’ve ever been to. Staying here for Cinderella pageant, we knew it’d be busy; but had no idea the hotel didn’t even attempt to prepare. The bell hop(1) explained to us that he was the only one working, and that he was off most of the week...(???) No towels, no wash cloths, no room cleaning period. Every day, we had to call in an attempt to get them, and every day, we were handed nothing. Once, I was told(at 11pm), that if wanted any, I’d have to come to the front desk to get em... Unbelievable! Then, when asking for just one room cleaning half way through the week, just to keep things a little in check, no one ever showed. They had 3 cleaning ladies the whole week. They’d start on the bottom floor early, and quit wherever they got to wherever they quit. The front desk help was non existent as well. Funny thing was, while the pageant was there, there’d be 1 or maybe 2 at the desk, with a long line of people: the day everyone checked out, there were 4 people standing at the front desk chatting away, and no one in line. The restaurant was terrible as well. I realize this is not The Four Seasons, but a half decent restaurant would’ve been a welcomed one. Oh, and the pool? Yea, it got shut down after a couple of days. Of course, there was no service there either; and no towels, and dark hot lounge chairs.... pitiful. This hotel knew this event was happening months before; but did not prepare. And I’m sure they don’t care either way what the patron thinks; just look at the negative reviews. Save yourself the disappointment of your traveling lifetime, and just book elsewhere. This hotel is a joke: If I could give it zero stars. I would....

Stayed for a soccer tournament We were in Dallas for a soccer tournament and this was the hotel the team recommended. It was close to grocery stores, shopping and restaurants which was very convenient. The hotel on the outside looks a little older, but the inside is nicely updated. The pool was on the small side for the size of the hotel, but it wasn’t busy so it wasn’t a big deal. The staff were very kind and accommodating. I requested a late check-out so my son could shower after his soccer game and before getting on a plane back to New Jersey. They didn’t even hesitate! A little kindness goes a long way. Thank you!

Started off disappointing. Didn't get better. Got to the hotel. I had booked through the Bonvoy app. At the check in we noticed that the pool was closed. We had picked this Hotel based on the fact that they had a pool and hot tub. I voiced my concerns and said I might want to find another property based off this information but was told it was too late to cancel. Felt like a bait and switch. I was then informed of the $15 self parking fee (valet was not available and I didn't see a garage though the app lists all 3). I asked if she could waive the parking since the pool was closed. She said since the app didn't show it she would accommodate. Inside of the lobby and common areas are very tired. Outside looks dated. Saving grace was our room was renovated but had a bad taste in my mouth from the check in. When getting onto the wifi the page said it would be $12 a day unless you signed into your Bonvoy account. I never saw anywhere to sign in. When checking out I made sure to ask if I was charged for internet (I wasn't) but my bill had the $15 parking fee on there. I said it should have been removed. I was immediately asked who told me they would waive the parking. I described who checked us in and she said she would follow up. I never heard back and the charge for parking never showed up. I won't return to this hotel.

A gem in the heart of Addison. I love Addison....it is a welcoming suburb of Dallas that is so upbeat...and right in the heart of the town stands the Addison Renaissance hotel. The property is so conveniently located, you don't even need a car to get around. There's got to be two or three dozen eclectic eateries within walking distance on Belt line Rd. There are two movie theaters within a stones throw too. If you have ever stayed at this Renaissance before...you will not recognize it. They have completely restored and updated everything, including all of the rooms & lobby. It is down right gorgeous.
