Good value all around This was our second time as guests of this hotel. The rooms are spacious, much like a small studio apartment, with bedroom area separated from a “living” area. Good for entertaining friends or getting some work done. The complimentary happy hour and breakfast is a bonus. There was one glitch: Hilton got confused between the room I reserved and the room they actually gave me, charging me for both. Short story: the staff got this straightened out eventually, though it required me to be diligent in the pursuit. Only complaint is the cafe service. It has been disappointing both visits. We avoid it. I think they are perpetually short staffed. There are plenty of good restaurants within short taxi rides nearby.

Good Experience We found the hotel to be quite lovely and had a number of amenities for guest to enjoy. In the mornings they offered a complimentary breakfast with a wide variety of hot and cold food to choose from. The had chefs to make omelets to order if you preferred In the evening a complimentary reception was available with each person allowed two drinks and assorted hor d' oeuvres to snack on. A restaurant and bar was also available for dinner service. The room we had was clean and comfortable.

Great Room! We really liked this hotel. We spent 3 nights while attending a conference in the area. The workers were friendly, the room was clean, breakfast was amazing. We didn't participate in the snacks etc. later in the day but it looked good too. We are both sensitive to chemical scents so greatly appreciated having an allergy free room with an air purifier. They said it would be scent free and it really was and that was so important, especially since we stayed a few nights. The room was comfy and it was fun to see a few hot air balloons off in the distance as we were there a few days before the festival. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The only issue we had was at check in. We asked how much the bottled water was that was in a cooler near the check in area. The woman helping us said, "everyone gets a complimentary bottle at check in, I can give you each one of those but they won't be cold. " That was fine with us and we took the 2 bottles of water. When we got our bill there was a $10 charge added to the bill. We called and asked about it and were told it was ...for the water...hmmmmmm. Not good at all. Sort of sad to have a sour taste in our mouths after such a good experience. I still gave it 5 stars because I would have given it more than 5, but if you stay there and are offered water maybe get it in writing that there is no charge...or video the person saying it! :-) Also...they desperately need an airport shuttle. That was also a biggie and quite a surprise. If you drive your own car, they charge a fee to park there so be sure to check that out too.

Very Disappointed We have stayed in many Embassy Suites over the years and have always been happy with our choice. The Embassy Suites Albuquerque was a disappointment. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful but that’s where the positives end. On arrival to our room, I found the door open. Our room looked like the cleaning staff was interrupted mid cleaning and never returned to finish the job. We didn’t have an ice bucket, no bar soap, only 1 glass and 1 coffee cup. The thermostat wasn’t working. Engineering had to be called to fix it. The handheld shower was broken. I found hair in the sink and on the bathroom floor. There were 2 holes in the drywall. The signage in the hotel was poor. I walking around our floor twice to locate the ice machine, only to find out later it was on another floor. The signs did not indicate this. The breakfast area was clean with many food choices; however, my eggs and pancakes were cold. We would think twice about staying here again. ADA My husband is a full-time wheelchair user. He is able to take care of his personal needs when in an environment that is wheelchair accessible. We have been traveling together for over 40 years. My comments on accessibility are for information only in hopes that it may be of help to others. The shower curtain does not go all the way to the floor, which means the floor gets soaked when you take a shower. The bathroom was too small and did not allow a full 360’ turn radius.

Bed Bugs - Beware!! Don't stay here. I was here for three nights this week and left with bed bug bites on both my legs. I stayed on the third floor. I had to quarantine all of my belongings and am going to spend a lot of time and money fumigating/washing them. This includes all of my electronics, which I can't use until fumigation is complete (takes weeks!!). I hope that the bugs don't come home with me, because they are impossible to remove from your home. I've even considered just throwing all of my stuff away. I have sent the photos of my swollen bites to the hotel, and haven't received information about what they have found in the room.
