F&B hassle for Diamonds Have stayed here several times, and while stay/facilities are nice, they don't recognize Diamond members very well. On both occassions I've had to check out electronically (very early) and when checking the bill, they never apply the F&B discount. I then have to call and wait several minutes while they check and finally apply the credit. Should not be such a hassle but it always is here..

Don’t stay here, it’s unsafe, and they have zero hospitality. I recently moved to Denver from Albuquerque and still have a New Mexico Driver’s License. Upon check in I was asked for my ID and credit card. I was extremely disappointed that, instead of being thanked for being a Diamond member and receiving my two waters as usual, I was told that I couldn’t stay there because I’m a local. The staff suggested I stay at another hotel instead. I had to produce my lease agreement to prove that I live in Denver before I was allowed to check into my room for work. This “no locals” policy isn’t listed anywhere on their website, and this has been documented in my current case. I spoke with the supervisor that checked me in, and said she was the manager on duty, who assured me that Assistant General Manager JJ would give me a call. Unfortunately, I never received a call. When I tried to call him twice, I asked for the manager and he responded that he was the manager. I asked, “Hi, is this the manager JJ?” and he replied, “I’m the manager and I’m not going to give my name out for security purposes,” then he said he couldn’t hear me and started to get belligerent. I called back, he answered the phone, said hello, then screamed that he was on the phone to someone else and put me on hold. Since I cannot have my phone at my work site, I left it in the car and didn’t receive a call back during my stay. I will absolutely not be staying at this property again and will be informing all of my coworkers that the Homewood Suites up the road is much friendlier, overall more hospitable. I also hope the supervisor and the Assistant Manager both receive hospitality training. Some other issues about the property: I asked the front desk about police activity at the hotel and received a vague response, and then they brushed it off because hotel security had arrived, this made me feel unsafe. Last time I stayed at the property an individual had broken into and locked himself in the pool restroom until three security guards knocked down the door. The hotel is under construction and at one point me and other guests were made to walk under an active motorized scaffolding. There was garbage and construction materials littering the fire escape. These are very much safety concerns. Another complaint about the construction is that 75% of the parking lot is taken up by shipping containers, cranes or construction materials. There isn’t any instruction or indication on where to park.

the worst hotel experience ever Saw that my car was broken into and didn’t notify me, even though at check in they ask for the description of my car before I could receive my key. Then was completely useless when I ask for any description of the person/persons who robbed my car. Also conveniently enough all the cameras in the building were down. Terrible workers and terrible experience.

most horrible experience ever If I could give 0 stars I would. Literally the worst experience ever. We checked in at around 9pm and the front desk person asked what kind of car we drive and to park anywhere we could find open. We parked in front of a security camera and thought we were good. At around 6:30am my husband went downstairs to start up the car, to find our windows down and trunk open. All of our things were gone. Our babies things were gone too. We approached the front desk and said “My car was robbed last night. Our things are gone.” to what they said “Oh, the car that was open last night?” They stated that the security guard saw our car open at around 10pm ish. We asked why weren’t we noticed and they stated they didn’t know whose car it was, even though they asked at check in. We asked for video surveillance and they said the cameras were down. Very convenient. They saw it open, right after we checked in and asked about our car, knew our car was open the WHOLE night and failed to notice anybody. They were also 0 help about it. Do not stay here, and if you do, good luck!

Dismal Experience, Construction Noise, Room Screw-Up, Graffiti, Not Garden Inn Standard I hope that once the renovations to this property are complete it will live up to the high standards we expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. But, at the moment (March 2024) it is an absolute $&!% show. Maybe you should just close down the hotel when such extensive construction is in progress? (BTW, I happened to overhear the manager reprimanding a contractor in the lobby). I reserved a “quiet top floor room away from the highway” via the Hilton Honors app. I am a loyal Hilton Diamond customer and I expect to get the room I book, or similar. When I arrived at my stated arrival times, I was told my room was “not available.” I asked what was the point of booking a room with the Hilton Honors app if said room is then not provided. I received no answer to my question. Instead they told me the hotel was full (I later discovered that was a lie) and put me in a horribly noisy third-floor room literally ON TOP of Interstate 40. You could easily toss a pebble from your non-opening window and hit a speeding car. And the traffic on that highway stretch never, ever stops. I was angry enough to take all my bags back down into the lobby and say: “I am NOT staying here, give me a refund.” In a lifetime of professional travel, I have never once done that before. The clerk replied: “I can’t do that, you’ll have to take it up with Hilton Corporate.” Then I got properly angry and said: “No, you are going to call corporate and do it while I stand here.” And then, at that very instant — as if by magic — the room I HAD booked suddenly and miraculously WAS available! A Christmas miracle! It’s VERY disappointing to me and bad for the brand when a loyal Hilton Diamond customer nearly has to have a meltdown in the lobby just to get the room he had already reserved. For dinner, the item I ordered (printed on the menu) was also not available. The server said: “Oh! We've never had that.” So I asked, since that was the case, why include it on the menu. She said that was “a good question” and would ask the chef. No additional details were forthcoming. You know there is something wrong when you see gang graffiti carved into all the metal elevator doors (see photo), which also had moving blankets attached and spilled liquids on the floor. To be fair, once I got the room I had actually booked, it was clean and pleasant (hence two stars rather the the one it really deserves) AND … the desk clerk promised to give me extra Hilton points for the inconvenience, rudeness, and annoyance, which she did NOT do! Liar! Don’t stay here at all until the renovations are complete and never, ever in a north-facing room. It was a garbage experience, but (the not in any way connected) Buca de Beppo next door is excellent, so it wasn’t a complete disaster … but nearly.
