Good customer service. The stay got off to a bad start as having driven over 300 miles we just wanted a chill evening. The TV in the room would not work, nor would the WiFi. The guy at the desk was very unhelpful saying he can't do any more than we were doing. Fortunately there was shift changeover and the girl starting did everything she could to help but to no avail. She then said she would put us in a different room. She was lovely and our problems were resolved. Great breakfast, I had strawberry waffles. The only put off of our stay is that it's in a homeless area but we didn't have any bother.

Anxious feeling Hotel average for the money. Neighborhood very uncomfortable. At 7pm on a Wednesday, chains were closed. High concentration of homeless & others that didn't look homeless, but we're hanging with them. Cops around sitting in the gas station. Iron fences with gates around parking areas of other hotels & businesses. Not at this Soper 8. Staff friendly. Pleasant. Helpful.

3rd time is not the charm We stayed at this hotel 3 times now, it is not improving. Staff was indifferent at best. of all the hotels I've stayed this trip where we needed 2 rooms, the staff or system could not figure out how to ring my credit card just once for both rooms. Breakfast was minimal for Wyndham properties Although the rooms were clean, and beds comfy, we had problem with getting the keys to work consitently. Better than last stay though were the lights in the accessible room did not work - except in the bath. Lastly - park on the right side of the hotel. the left side is sketchy with homeless huddles outside the hotel fence.

Big family, cost efficient, safe The area looked a little shady BUT all hotels in the vicinity had security. Rooms are older and need some TLC but not bad. The one in grand canyon was a dump. We had 3 beds, 1 separate within the hotel room and 2 in the main area. They have maintenance people keeping up the exterior and staff was friendly. We would go back.
