Excellent experience Originally planned to stay one night but ended up having to add a night. Top to bottom, very well ran. Friendly and engaging staff, unexpected manager's happy hour second night. Room was clean, I was greeted and felt like a valued guest. Breakfast was above average for a Hampton (I stay in many!). Looking forward to my next visit to this property

Good, but . . . The room, lobby, and breakfast room were all clean, which is my main consideration. The staff we encountered were courteous and helpful. That said, the room, although clean and comfortable, needed some minor fixes, such as the cover to the air conditioner control was broken off and thrown on top of the unit, the curtain was torn, just minor things. We thought the in-room microwave was broken but eventually determined it was unplugged, which would be an easy fix except that we have some mobility challenges and it was difficult to first access the cord and then reach down under the desk to plug it in. Tea made with "hot" water at breakfast had to be heated up in the microwave The one issue that was concerning was the desk chair. Fine to sit in, but when you tried to get up it pitched you forward and could easily cause a fall. I would have reported it as we left but the clerk was busy on the phone. I don't anticipate being in Alexandria in the future, but I'm not sure I'd stay again.

Not Hampton Inn standards This should not have Hampton Inn on the sign. It does not meet their standards. The outside chairs have bleached out, sun rotted cushions. The mattresses are not Hampton in. The sheets and towels are motel 6 quality. The hallways are blistering hot with carpet covered in lint and other trash. We had a large, soccer ball sized mildew stain on our wallpaper, our curtains were hanging off the rod like they had parties too hard the night before. I’m not a fan of feeling like I’m acting privileged when I ask for housekeeping. I leave $10 gratuity so it’s not too much to ask for towels and my trash to be taken out. Super nice staff except for one guy at the front desk who acted like he didn’t want to be bothered. On a positive note, we ate at some great restaurants

Too expensive for what you get $163 with a discount code is wayyyyyyy too much for this quality of a hotel. The hotel is in need of a renovation. The bathtub had hair all over it when we came in. There are many spots of rust all over the bathroom and the faucets are hard to turn off to stop the leaking. The carpet feels disgusting in your feet.

Run Down Hotel We were just passing through so it was a one night stay. The hotel is in need of a serious renovation. The paint was peeling and falling off while showering and carpet was old. Not a hotel you think Hilton would be proud of putting it's name on. The positive side is the employees. They were so friendly! Front desk was awesome and the breakfast attendant was ready to help with whatever you needed. This is the only reason it got a 3 star! The hotel itself would have scored a one star but the employees made the stay better!
