Amazing trip to Alta in April Had a wonderful vacation to Alta in April with kids. Snowpine was fantastic- can’t beat the location, friendliness of the staff, food, pool/hot tub or hotel. From the first phone call to book the room they were extremely helpful and booked transportation, dinner reservations, helping with ski lessons etc. Also, the staff at Snowpine had the highest level of safety the entire time which was extremely reassuring. We never saw a single staff member with mask off or inappropriately placed. Wholeheartedly recommend and look forward to going back!

Very new, updated hotel Recently rebuilt and expanded Alta lodge. About six floors with very nice central spaces with fireplace on each floor. Couples swings on one balcony; gas fire pit wine patio on another. Nice game room. This is summer, but the ski locker room was real nice. Great views from all floors. We had a top floor balcony which was beautiful and private - but MJ smoking below or around us morning and evening lessened (our) joy. The walls are very thin and toilet vents are basically an intercom system to adjacent rooms - no fan. Very nice bar and restaurant. My restaurant review did not post - but it was excellent. All employees wore a mask and kept their distance. Super attentive but not pushy.

Amazing ski in and ski out hotel This has to be one of our new favorites. The location is perfect, the small details like ski lockers that dry boots and gloves is impressive, not to mention the cookies and hot cocoa waiting for you when you return from the private lift to your ski in ski out hotel. The service was super friendly from the moment we arrived the hotel staff was great and made us feel right at home. Pool and hot tub have great views of the slopes. The food and drinks were great and we never felt like we needed to leave to go eat somewhere. We will be back as this is one of the best

Best ski hotel in Utah! Currently staying at Snowpine with the husband. We have stayed at many different accommodation types for ski trips but I decided to splurge for his birthday trip and boy am I happy I chose this place. Here’s my review so far: The room: we booked the slope side king category and got room E-2. Its a corner room on the 5th floor on the west end of the property that has views to the mountain and also down the canyon, which means we get to watch the sunset from our balcony every night. Though not huge, the room is very well laid out with a super comfortable bed and tons of space to store our clothes, we especially appreciated the coat hangers by the door. The one thing that was a little weird is there’s no electrical outlets in the bathroom - but there is a small vanity with a plug in the bedroom to blow dry your hair. The location: the hotel is about mid way between alta’s 2 base areas. You ski out from the bottom level of the hotel down to the transfer tow which takes you to either of the base lifts in less than 5 minutes. On the way back the hotel has its own lift that takes you right back to the locker room... could not be more convenient! If you have a car they provide valet parking for no fee. The amenities: #1 best thing about snowpine is the ski lockers! The second you arrive they take your ski gear and put it in your locker that’s opened with your room key and has boot and glove warmers - the door to the mountain is literally 20 feet away. There is a heated outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs with views to the mountain. During Covid they are requiring reservations for the hot tubs—Book the south one for the best Mountain Views. There is also a beautiful spa facility with a giant indoor jacuzzi and great masseuses. They also have an expansive game room with pool, foosball, ping pong and arcade games. They are only allowing one party in at a time right now but it would be a fun place to meet other people once Covid is over. The service: on par with any 5 star hotel. Any request you have the front desk will take care of, before and during your stay. We went on a day trip to Deer Valley and they had our car loaded with our skis and boots in 10 minutes. They will also drive you down to snowbird and back for dinner. Shout out to Tom at the bell desk and Karen at reception for being super helpful and nice. The food: the restaurant has a super cool lodge-chic feel. Breakfast is very good and healthy. Bar service is prompt and friendly. Prices are a bit expensive but in line with the area and level of the hotel. Dinner entree portions are very large, so you may want to split if you aren’t a big eater. Overall review: We have stayed 5 star ski hotels before and snowpine beats them all. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful Lodge, Excellent Service, Great Family Trip The Snowpine Lodge is a great place for a family ski trip. The property feels like staying at a friend's ski house with its large living rooms on each floor and smart room design options like bunk beds for the kids. Add to that the on-mountain location, full service bar, restaurant, spa, game room and pool/hot tubs and you've got the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. Renting our skis from the hotel's ground floor ski shop and storing all our gear in the heated lockers felt decadent. The shop saved us when we came in for more gear during a big storm. Since the hotel is right on the slopes, we came in from skiing every day for lunch. We dropped our boots in our lockers, put on our slippers, and sat by the fireplace while we enjoyed quality food rather than fast food on the hill. The hotel and the ski operations are taking COVID measures seriously. We were able to reserve both the hot tub and the game room for just our family for an hour every day during our stay - and the hotel staff cleans everything between reservations. It was a relief to get to do something "normal" this year while feeling safe. Thank you Snowpine. We will be back - and we'll bring friends!
