Give your room away, Hangs up on you. Called and confirmed reservation and confirmed late check in. Most flights to Alaska come in after midnight. They still gave our room away. Any room is better than no room and an airport bench overnight. Hung up on us twice trying to find out what happened. Book ANYWHERE else.

Good value for an overnight in Anchorage We were a group of 7 rooms, displaced with recent Denali Wildfires, Ramada was open and downtown. Service was great and the updates inside the rooms were surprising, much better than the outside appearance. You must overlook the homeless, they do hang out behind the hotel on the grassy hill.

Ramada Anchorage a good stay Convenient on the edge of downtown Anchorage with big rooms and really friendly staff. Breakfast is rather sparse. We had a problem with our flight out and went to the airport very early (7-15 hours before possible flights) and transfer driver (Dave) insisted that if we got sorted out we phone and he would collect us, so we could see something of Anchorage. Got out earlier but liked the attitude.

To call this place a dump would be a disservice to landfills From start to finish this place was a total disaster. The worst property we've stay in since... well probably ever. The gentleman who monitored the pathetic breakfast seemed nice enough and well intended, but the cold food offerings were so poor it didn't help. I think management must be at fault here as every aspect of the property is neglected. Artwork on the floor, trash bags in the hallway, breakfast items (bagels) out of stock. We were on the 3rd floor and our a/c would routinely suck in smoke into our non-smoking room from people who were standing in front of the "no smoking sign" - some of them employees. Those same employees were seen on a smoke break while standing out front ignoring the overflowing trash can that served as the welcome sign to approaching guests. Our bed had a sink hole on one side where my wife was trying to sleep. Housekeeping said they'd would report it to the front desk. Nothing happened. We ended up rotating the king sized mattress our selves as it was clear the maintenance guy, whom we also talk to about it, wasn't going to do anything about it. Just as he did not provide us with the promised "spindle" to hold up the toilet paper roll that was missing. Lots of photos attached.

Dirty sheets The place is dirty. Our bed had no fitted sheet so the filthy stained mattress cover was what they expected us to sleep on. I asked them to put clean sheets on which they did but when they took off the mattress pad the mattress was so gross with stains and probably has been there since they first opened. They did cover it with a mattress pad and fitted sheet. Our door was hard to open because it rubbed against the jam. The laundry room was right by our room so we heard the dryer running all night with shoes in it. We finally got to sleep after 11:30pm and heard the train all night. Breakfast was yogurt and frozen waffles.
