Stay here… Wonderful place. Quiet. Near everything in awesome Ann Arbor. Windows open to enjoy the fresh air and hear the birds through the screens. But for a hotel, the best thing about the place is the staff and front desk supervisor who effortlessly multitask multiple duties and gets everyone whatever they need. Jarrett is top notch and has a great future ahead of him. I will stay here upon every return!

Stay Away!!! This is not a Hampton Inn. Stay away!!! This place was bad. Don’t believe their photos. Believe mine. If I could give it zero stars I would. The carpeting everywhere is filthy and stained, the windows were dirty, the “breakfast area” was a disaster with food and drink all over the counters and cereal being offered in bags and hand-written notes indicating what they were out of. The greeting desk had holes in the wall and each room had stickers with hand-written room numbers on them. In our room #405, the window darkening shade had been ripped out, with the mounting holes still exposed. Light from the parking lot blew right through the flimsy plastic blinds that they installed. The cabinets are damaged at the base and splintered from “housekeeping” banging into them. This property is NOT a Hampton Inn - it is in the process of being rebranded into some obscure chain. Anything and everything with a Hampton logo was ripped from the walls, doors, elevators, etc. I’m thinking that maybe Hampton pulled the franchise inasmuch as the property is in such poor maintenance. Hampton obviously knew this but we were not informed of this when Hampton Inn “corporate” booked our non-refundable stay. Shame on them!

Room looked like a Crime Scene - Absolutely Filthy! This place was a mistake. Not sure how it received so many good reviews on various 3rd party sites. Check-in went easily. Somehow we had been given a disability access room. I told them we did not need that, but that is what we were given ... #437. All the way at the end of the hallway (elevators in the middle) next to the stairwell. Not sure that was the best place for handicapped access?? So many things wrong with this room. Dirty, poor lighting, broken blinds, no closet - just a wire shelf behind a curtain, bed did not appear to be made up - just thrown together, huge stain on desk chair (urine or water? Who knows!) Stains all over thw side of the sofa, nowhere to put anything in the bathroom. Complained to the front desk and immediately given another room, #428. This was better, but still dirty and the bed about the same. The toilet had public hairs on it, to the rear of the seat, so it had not been cleaned. Also, the toilet paper had not been changed and had 3 sheets left on it. The hallways were absolutely filthy with heavily stained carpet. The elevators had plastic advertising stickers on them, but one of them had been partially ripped off in several places. As it was late, we reluctantly stayed. Contacted Delta Stays who worked with the hotel and we received a refund for the 4 nights we did not use, upon checking out the next morning. I should commend the front desk staff; they were great, sadly there was nothing they could do as the issues were predominantly about the condition of the entire hotel. It looked as if it had not been cleaned in 5 years. Ended up booking a Fairfield Suites in Ypsilanti. Cost just a little less, but was like a resort compared to this place. Actually cost just a little less also! Very disappointed with this Hilton property. We have stayed at any Hiltons around the globe, but I think a tent on the lawn would have been better than this one!

Adequate but not excellent This is our second stay at this hotel. I generally like Hampton Inn for value and convenience. This location has been an exception. The ownership does not seem to take pride in this hotel. During both visits, one of two elevators was out of operation. The stairwell was dirty and a place to throw old boxes and broken heaters. Surrounding grounds were not landscaped. Hallways were hot. On the end of the building was an event center that seemed to be used as a large storage room. On the brighter side, our room was clean. Breakfast was adequate, though more basic than other Hamptons I have stayed at. Front desk managers were very helpful. Price was quite good, though this was reflected in the condition of the facility. This Hampton Inn was adequate but not commensurate with other Hamptons I have stayed at.

AVOID this Hotel! Avoid this hotel at all costs. It is DIRTY! DIRTY bedding possible blood stained. Broken tiles in bathroom. This property is in need of everything from cleaning to needed repairs. This is a very poor Hampton Inn standard. Hilton should close it down!
