Great service staff We travel a bunch so price matters. This seemed reasonable for a four night stay. The location is not the best. There's only one restaurant nearby (Red, Hot, and Blue BBQ - very good), but there is an extended stay hotel and liquor store right next door which made some of the pedestrian traffic suspect. Anyway, we were greeted by Antwan and he was awesome. So friendly and helpful. Throughout our stay, we also had the pleasure of dealing with Shayla and Andrew. All employees were great. The room was clean and comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was fine as were the bath towels. We didn't have to request maid service, either. It was automatically provided. Didn't try the breakfast, can't comment on that.

Comfy and convenient The rooms were comfortable, clean, well-maintained, and quiet. The sofa in my room was a definite plus since I was traveling with a friend (who had a separate adjacent room) so that we could use my room to comfortably visit together. My only complaint was the most un-appealing "scrambled eggs" of the breakfast. The cubes of yellow did not even look like real eggs (perhaps powdered eggs prepared in a large sheet pan then cut up?).

It is now a Quality Inn Basic hotel. Nothing special. Off the Hiway. Friendly staff. Old hotel but renovated. Breakfast. Good value for the money. Fridge in room and microwave. Good for one night. Plenty of parking available but 7 miles or so from Annapolis.

Now a Quality Inn Near 301/50 Conveniently located off 301/50, this hotel is now a Quality Inn and has signs to help one find the hotel. Check in and breakfast is in a building separate from the buildings containing the rooms so if you are assigned a room at the far end, you may find it easier to drive to breakfast. There are 2 floors though if assigned a room towards the end, you will have to climb a few steps to access the far end of the building's exterior. There was a slight mildew/moldy odor in the hotel hallway and room, but the room appeared to be clean. Bed was very comfortable though towels are super thin. The front desk staff was very personable. Would consider staying here if in the area again.

Lacking This hotel has been transformed to a Quality Inn and it really isn't even a very good Quality. The setup is okay, although a little strange (for Maryland) with the front desk and breakfast area being separate from the sleeping rooms. The staff was very nice and the room was clean, but the whole place is in desperate need of updating. The TV was exceptionally small, had a very small selection of station and had no HD service. Really no A&E or other basic channels and no HD? This is 2019. The breakfast is what you would expect at a Quality. Nothing bad, but I've had a lot worse. I've been in worse place and I would stay here again because it is in a nice location and the price is nice. Not a bad place, just needs some TLC.
