Excellent Staff My daughter and I stayed at the Sheraton Arlington for a weekend. I noticed throughout our stay that the hotel seemed to be running on a skeleton staff and I was pretty surprised because of the size of the hotel and the fact that it’s a summer weekend. (One staff member at the front desk, one staff member at the bar, etc.) I didn’t really realize the extent of it until we sat down for breakfast in the restaurant on Sunday morning and watched ONE staff member both seat tables, wait tables, and bus tables all alone, all morning. Everyone ate off of the buffet, but if anyone had ordered off of the menu, I wouldn’t have been surprised to see him cooking the food himself, too. Mario did an incredible job. He was efficient, friendly, and attentive. I was so impressed by the way he handled his job. I did not see him rest one time, and I sat in the restaurant for an hour and a half. I hope that management notices this and appreciates what he brings to the organization. I also hope management works to make sure that they are adequately staffed so that Mario has help.

Needs serious help The good - location. 15 minute walk to Globe Life Field or free shuttle provided by hotel. 30 minutes walk to At & T Stadium or free shuttle. The bad - outdated, dirty hotel. Property has huge potential but either a lack of staffing or caring has left this huge property a dilapidated mess. They don’t clean the rooms daily due to COVID- ridiculous. The bar/restaurant is staffed by one person doing double duty- ridiculous. The tap beer made my wife sick. Even the soda machine dispensed the wrong soda. The ambience here is depressing as is the smell that emanates throughout this entire hotel. I felt like I was admitted to a hospital, not on vacation. They need to do better. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else - I know I will next time.

Helpful and professional employees I was at Sheraton Arlington for only one night, so didn’t get to really experience the hotel. Checked in early evening, and VERY early checkout. The food was good and the employees were very nice and professional. A big thank you and shout out to Patricia at the Front Desk the morning of May 29. It was an extremely early checkout (still dark). I was having a very bad morning due to spilling and ruining my blouse. Patricia really helped me out and treated me to an espresso in the coffee shop. Patricia is so kind, caring, friendly, professional, and a real problem solver. I was nervous about a meeting that morning and my ruined blouse had me upset. Patricia put a smile on my face and we laughed! Exactly what I needed! Thank you, Patricia!

Not Worth The Price The guest service staff was nice and helpful but for the price a hotel without room service , really? Also, they don't clean the rooms daily anymore due to COVID. Again really? The worse was the female bartender/waitress who obviously hated being at work. Anyway, this is a 50$ a night hotel at best until they lift all the COVID restrictions. I hate myself for not investigating before booking. Don't make the same mistake.

Dated Hotel With Poor Service Surprised not to see a thread about this place. Stay Report - 6/5 to 6/6 Location: The hotel is located in Arlington just south of I-30.  It's a 12 minute walk to Globe Life Field where the Rangers play which makes it the closest Marriott option to the park.  It's also very close to Six Flags.  On the other side of I-30 are a number of restaurants both chain and otherwise.  DFW is about 20 minutes away and being near I-30 makes it easy to get to Downtown Dallas. Hotel: The hotel like many Sheratons is a large hulk straight out of the 1980s.  It does have its good points though like its renovated lobby, nice outdoor area with a decent sized pool and free parking.  There's also a trolley that stops out front which will take you to the Rangers park or local restaurants.  Amazingly there is currently an open club lounge on the 18th floor which is grand. Check In: Very mixed.  I was with two companions.  I'm Titanium and had a great check in experience.  A friendly agent asked if I wanted breakfast for two or points and gave me a room on the Club Floor.  Another companion who's Gold also had no issues.  However, my second companion who is Platinum had a lot of issues.  His agent flatly refused to honor his status and give him any benefits.  She told him when he booked the reservation he was Gold and he was only entitled to Gold benefits.  She refused to budge and was extremely rude about it (I witnessed all of this).  He ended up going back later to try and fix this and met with more hostility.  It was really disappointing. Room: I was able to see both the club floor king and the normal two queen rooms.  Do note the rooms like most of this hotel are really dated.  This includes tiny bathrooms, poor lighting, lack of full outlets next to the bed, slow Wifi and a basic sense that the best years of the hotel are behind them.   Lounge/Dining: The lounge on the 18th floor was pleasant.  They didn't have much in the way of food or drink (just chips and granola bars and soda and coffee) but I'm glad it's there.  Breakfast was a hot buffet with scrambled eggs, blintzes, bacon, sausage and potatoes.  Service in the restaurant was great. Overall it's a good location for Rangers games but the dated aspect and the poor staff treatment did not leave the best taste in my mouth.
