RUN, DON’T WALK! This place is a sad excuse for a hotel. Filthy, unkept and definitely not up to par with post-Covid health standards Restaurant still closed, daily housekeeping is pathetic(you need to ask for it or you’re on you’re own). Toiletry amenities appeared used, toilet paper/tissues not replenished . Our tub has mold and on day 3, still waiting for housekeeping to honor our request to clean it. Frankly, if it weren’t for the convenient location of being across the street from our sons, I’d run the heck out of here as fast as I could

LONG OVERDUE FOR A REDO- BOTH OF THE PROPERTY AND THE STAFF This was an atrocious experience. Was last at this hotel in November 2019. Elevators are filthy - fingerprints on metal surfaces, door thresholds back with dirt. Hallway carpet on "premium" floor patched and threadbare. Room has rips in bedroom wallpaper and was coming off of wall in bathroom due to insufficient air ventilation addressing shower moisture. Mattress was soft - clearly died years ago. If this hotel is not redone from top to bottom, it should be knocked down. Asked for more towels and toiletries (no service during stay - fully understandable) at 10 am; did not arrive by 5 pm. Had to stand in long line for one person at desk to complain since telephone request was out on hold for 10 minutes and I gave up. Finally, towels show up at 6:15, but no additional shampoo etc. Westin is close to family - but it is clearly time to stay further away until a new hotel is built where the Staples now exists.

Escape Room but as a Hotel We check in, walk upstairs to our room, the key card doesn’t work on our room. I go all the way back down to the front desk & they send an engineer up. The engineer came helped us get into our room thank goodness. Rather than move us to a new room, the engineer said he will get it fixed. That evening I go to the elevator to let my husband up, come back to our room and the key card doesn’t work again. Thank goodness our daughter was still awake and was able to let us into our room. No apologies by front desk no nothing. Then that morning our car is no where to be found. The garage is massive and connected to multiple buildings some of which are closed on weekends. More locked doors near the place our family parked. A few signs may help in the garage to point to Westin parking. I wanted to like this hotel but it reminded me of an escape room. If your claustrophobic or running late- I would’t recommend this hotel. I’m kind of pissed I didn’t put up more of a fuss but literally it killed our trip. Just a whole bunch of issues.

A Weekend At The Westin I truly cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff (particularly Alex and Justin) were amazing. They were thoughtful, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It was easy to tell that they really cared that we had a pleasant stay. They had a situation with a power outage overnight (which was entirely out of their control - city issue) and they handled it with grace and kindness and did everything they could to make it up to any guests who were staying at the hotel that night. I will definitely be back!
