BEWARE of EXTRA CHARGES, NO ELEVATOR BEWARE. When I looked at my CC I was charged $246. Then a surprise $50 charge. I called the desk and was told it was a Deposit. I was told neither amt when I checked in. They are very sneaky about it. Also, They are not handicap accessible as there is no elevator and they did not mention this. I am handicap and almost had to call 911 because I am chronically ill and got sick from not only climbing the stairs but carrying my luggage up them. Everyone needs to report to the BBB

Outrageous, Undisclosed Pre-Authorization Charges This was an absolutely terrible experience. We were awakened 3 times during the night by the sound of an animal whimpering. We searched the room, found nothing. Complained to the front desk to a girl who barely spoke English but she did contact the people in the room next to us but no animal. Got home and discovered a $50 pre-authorization charge on my card. Normally its a dollar or 2, but $50 and no notice of a pre-authorization charge of that size? I called to complain and spoke with the general manager who is the rudest person. He insists on constantly talking over you, will not listen to you and finally said it should be back in my account by next Friday - 1 week AFTER the authorization AND the room charges went through, then he hung up! He was simply a horrid individual to deal with. I won't stay here again. Do what you wish.

Smelly Hotel Room with Shady Business Practices I booked a room and told them at the time I might stay one night or 2 and they said no problem. I ended up checking out in the morning after the first night and made sure that was ok and they gave me a receipt with the charge for a single night. Later I discovered a charge for the second night on my credit card. I called and they told me I booked for 2 nights and basically "screw you we have your money what you gonna do" (was the jist of the response I got from the sketchy guy that runs the place). So I paid for 2 nights for a room that smelled like rot and mildew, with a cold pool with small rags for towels, sticky floors, maybe the worst hotel breakfast I ever encountered, and horrible rude workers.

Smells bad The Quality Inn in Ashland, OH is terrible. The hallways smell bad and the carpet is stained. When we got into our room the bed spread was stained and again it smelled bad.  The management team is very confrontational and seems to delight in telling you they can't help and that they will charge the full amount if you leave. We did leave. My two kids were both gagging and being impossible.  After a long drive, we just need something at the lowest end of acceptable. This is not it.  If you look at the way the managers respond to reviews on google, it is petty and rude. They take no accountability for their hotel and they delight in confrontation. I called the next day to speak to a manager. The person who answered said the manager was not in, and then hung up on me after telling me he wouldn't refund my money. Which was odd, because he wasn't the manager and supposedly "couldn't return my money."  We did not stay for more than 20 minutes. Just a terrible hotel.  We asked for a refund and didn't get it, and have called our credit card company to dispute the charge.  Terrible hotel, terrible staff and terrible service.

Not bad oldie but a good if you are staying one or two nights, it is decent. Old fixtures and bed was squeaky. But clean and quiet. Staff were nice. We did not get up in time for breakfast. Price was reasonable.
