Horrible Hotel We stayed at the Red Roof in Ashland Va on the 11th of August. It was the absolute worst Red Roof I've ever been in. It was filthy! Dead roaches of the floor and a couple live ones crawling across the wall. Mold and mildew in the shower and the entire building reeked of cigarettes. If we hadn't gotten in at 11 p.m we would have left. Horrible place.

DIRTY! We needed a place to stop for the night and unfortunately this was the only place we found available after 3 exits of no vacancies. Floors were dirty. The bathroom door was covered in grime and stains. There were used bars of soap still left in the shower. The bedding was stained and scratchy feeling. Only a sheet and thin cover with no blankets. There was a sign that claimed it was a non smoking room but it smelled like a smoking room and there was a cigarette burn mark on one of the sheets. The TV was broken too. If we were so tired with another 12 hours to drive we would have just left. Truly disgusting place!

Run for your lives Filthiest red roof I have ever been in. Filth and I mean filth in my room and my friends accompanying me on the trips room also. Spray painted bathroom sink over what appears to have been a fire in the sink. No drains Floor was covered with dirt and bugs. Not just in corners EVERYWHERE. My friends room had excrement on the back of the bathroom door and sticky and bugs all over floors. It appears people are living there also. More like a drug house than a safer haven. I have stayed in red roofs for over 20 years and I never will again. Despicable and would not have stayed there if they paid me.

Bare bones, but acceptable The price was right, the location convenient ,the staff friendly, the room clean, the immediate area is industrial. However, there are many restaurants, gas stations and a Walmart nearby. And, of course, pet friendly with no hidden fees.

Do Not Stay Here We were traveling during an ice storm. Had to find a place that took pets off I95. Couldn't find the place as they have no Red Roof sign outside The room was not clean. Had a mouse trap in cornet of room and bathroom was dirty.
