Comfy doubletree beds We stayed here for a sporting event and the location is good. The rooms were average size and tidy. The hotel had a good bar with a really friendly bartender as well as friendly front desk staff who helped me utilize some Diamond benefits. The price was pretty good for Atlanta. I would just say it’s time to do some updates at this hotel. Many parts of the hotel and rooms look very worn. The carpet in the elevator is gross (probably putting carpet in an elevator isn’t a great idea). I don’t mean the hotel is dirty (other than the elevator carpet) or that I wouldn’t stay here again, just that it’s time for some updates.

Really, really bad staff and location Nobody answers the phone or their chat service - even the central Hilton services couldn't get hold of them. They only had 1 room even though 2 were paid for and I had all the paperwork and booking receipts. The woman on the front desk with a punk hairstyle and baggy shorts is incredibly rude and unhelpful, acts like a teenager - mumbling and just walks off. The hotel itself is on the corner of 2 busy roads and the traffic noise is horrendous, the swimming pool is non-existent, I arrived late at night and the car park had a couple of cars with doors wide open, clothes hung out and something unsavoury going on.

This hotel needs work! I visited this loction on a recent trip to Atlanta. I booked this property through a 3rd party site. The rate was reasonable and because it was a Hilton property I decided to book the reservation. The reservation included breakfast, which I assumed would be more than the continential breakfasts offered at most chains, because they were charging $18.99. No, it was the same breakfast you can get at any hotel offering breakfast, but at least at the other chains you can make your own waffles. The rooms did not come with a microwave, just a fridge. Also, the TV is not a smart TV, it only had satellite/cable, so limited options for TV. The carpet was stained and looks like it hadn't been cleaned in a long while. The bedframe was falling a part. This location fell below the Hilton brand.

Front desk is useless! Awful experience. There was a blood stain on my sheets. I called down to the front desk and no help was offered. The person I spoke with had an attitude, was dismissive, and even hung up on my face. No one apologized and it was obvious they could care less of my issue. I will NEVER stay here again. I have to go through Hilton’s corporate office for assistance.

LOWEST LEVEL HILTON/DOUBLETREE ONE CAN CHOOSE! Upon checking in and viewing the hotel and room, I was comfortable and ok with all levels of accommodation. However, as my wife and I were checking, we were next to another couple who was checking in. Apparently, the check-in process was taking longer than it should have and rather than communicating with the couple, the front desk clerk was extremely rude. The supervisor helping us check-in also proceeded in insulting the couple and making light of it to wife and I. We played along simply because we didn't want to risk the quality of our stay being affected. Then for the next three days the housekeeping staff continued to reflect one of the lowest standards of attention and care that I have EVER experienced in my travels; akin to a Holiday Inn in a 3rd world country. Each day I had to request washcloths and hand towels; on one occasion at midnight. Additionally, they did a poor job of cleaning the room. They left trash. They did clean the coffee pot which was evident from the moment we checked-in. The housekeeping supervisor was completely rude and unresponsive added to poor English-speaking ability. When I spoke to the front desk clerk after having to go downstairs to retrieve my own because noone was "available " to bring them to my room, my comments and complaints were similar brushed-off. The Doubletree and Hilton brand have always priced themselves in quality, great customer service, etc. This particular property leaves alot to be desired and obviously is not a important focus for the corporate core. I chose this location out of convenience. However, in a couple of weeks when I return, I will choose somewhere more inconvenient but offering ther level of quality, customer service, etc etc etc that I am accustomed to.
