The most pet UNFRIENLY hotel chain in the entire United States. The manager of this facility would not allow a pair of 10 pounds inseparable dogs. However they will allow an 80 pound dog to stay. This chain used to be a good place to spend the night but it was ruined by incompetence and greed. Our nation wide K-9 club will stay away from this hotel chain. Luckily, there is La Quinta Inn who can accommodate us. Watch and learn. Red Roof Inn will respond with a scripted note saying how much they appreciate our feedback. Well they just lost several thousand potential guest. Watch channel 6 consumer affairs program soon.

Unimaginable Conditions Worse experience, simply unimaginable. (Lazy Boy Arm chairs in the hallways, the bad is full of urine under the sheets, writing on the walls in the room, filthy tub, shower curtain falling off/broken, faucet leaking in kitchen, toilet leaking all over the bathroom floor, cabinets full of dirt, 1 bed broken, had to support it with a chair under it, other bed heavy soiled with urine). This hotel should not be allowed to operate. The nightly rate during Masters were $380. The room looked like it was permanently occupied by someone or a group of people and they were temporarily moved out for the weekend so it can be rented for premium price, or possibly this room is rented for an hourly rate on a permanent basis. This is only a speculation, we have no proof how this room got into a condition of beyond words to describe. Regardless what the history and reasons of the foul, filthy condition, management/ownership is lacking the ethical and moral characters of hospitality principles to provide a guest with a clean room. It is beyond unfair and unacceptable to put someone in a health risk of having to sleep in another persons urine. Never seen anything like this in real life, not even on TV. Will be posting pictures later on.

The red roof inn - where customer service went to die I urge any reader of this review to consider hell or prison as lodging options before staying at the Red Roof Inn. I’m being harsh you’re thinking. Glib. But when you pay $400 a night to sleep in a room that smells like an ash tray, didn’t have a working door on the toilet and hasn’t seen a housekeeper since it was built in 100 BC a little humour is the best I can muster. We stayed during Masters week and when somewhere multiplies their average room rate by 10 you’d think they’d make a bit more effort. The expectations were that the room would be clean, have 2 beds and a toilet. How in the world this place has a rating of 4/5 for cleanliness is beyond me. They must be paying for reviews is all I can guess because this place is as filthy as my ex wife. On walking into the room we were greeted by a toilet bowl filled with faeces which frightened my initially as I thought a bear might be in the room still by the size of it. When we checked in the rather rude lady said “child please, check in is 3pm it’s masters week.” Ok I thought, thanks for the warm welcome. She then grunted a response that we could leave our bags at our own risk before saying “you’ve booked a smoking room.” What’s that I asked - I don’t smoke. She said I’d booked through a third party like I’d insulted a close relative of hers (Expedia) - she really took delight in not being able to help and I was surprised she didn’t ask to accompany us to the room when we got the keys to see the misery on our faces at the smell and filth we would be surrounded by for then next two nights. So as you can tell I’m disappointed there’s not a 0/5 option on Tripadvisor but as I did with the red roof inn, I’ll graciously accept my fate and move on. Please don’t stay here unless you really have to and if you’re going to the masters consider 1) paying the money for a Hilton or Marriott branded hotel, 2) staying in Atlanta and getting a taxi both ways or 3) staying in a tent which will be cleaner and have better customer service.

Not as good as it once was!! Ate here to use my points but the cost to eat Fish and chips was way too high. The fish was good, but service was very slow. And I can remember when Fish and chips came with two filets not one. Also the points or rewards use to be good, you could have cheesecake, or some nice dessert. Now you get soup or a game, that's not why I come here. So it may be time to look elsewhere for seafood options.

Unbelievable…just unbelievable! The only decent thing about this place is that the staff was friendly. Everything else was horrible. I reserved a room for 4 nights. However, before I even checked in I knew I’d be checking out the very NEXT day! Questionable people wandering the parking lot all day long and people smoking weed right outside of their rooms. This motel appears to be the hangout spot for addicts and street workers. The entire room was outdated and in terrible shape. The damaged air conditioner was covered in mold and there were huge cob webs in the corners and even the ceiling was filthy. How does a ceiling get dirty in the first place?!?! The mouthpiece on the broken phone was covered in only God knows what and the wall cord had layers of dust on it. Holes in the walls and baseboards, other rooms had been condemned, building pillars outside had huge cracks in them…the list goes on and on. If you’re considering stay here…just don’t. Not even if the room is free. Trust me!
