Stay elsewhere on the strip and not here or the sister property nextdoor. This hotel is on the lower end of any Hampton Inn I have stayed. They operate the Homewood Suites next door too. When I arrived a person wear Homewood Suites shirt was working the desk. My room was not ready and they were giving people checking in early a difficult time. At the onset it appeared they cannot keep up with housekeeping. I was told they were not sure when my room would be ready. When I did check it, the room was very aged and the furniture showed it had been used for sometime and needed replacement. Oddly, they have the new sliding bathroom/closet door, so I figure it had been upgraded recently. Quick look in the closet and no laundry bag - past experience tells me this means they are cutting corners. First, there are no gluten-free options, not even fruit, at this location. This is one of the very few Hampton Inn’s that had a minimal breakfast selection and did not offer gluten-free. Next, there was no daily housekeeping. There was no signage, notification, or information on the website about this not being offered. One guest told me they had been there 3 days and nothing was changed. If you are not offering or providing then your website should indicate such and there should be notices throughout the hotel - sorry if you do not like telling people. In my room, the sink escutcheon was falling off, the rob holder was falling off the wall as well, the power strips were all loose and your cords would not stay plugged in if you did not have a grounded power cord. The rooms do not have microwaves! Why would they not have room microwaves, if you need one walk downstairs to the lobby - why? I am guessing money cost cutting. I went to use the ironing board and the cover would not stay on and the iron tip was broken. The cord had a well worn yellow/tan tone. The room is so moist and wet, to the extent the floor feels damp. My clothes were all damp by day 3 too. The AC is not removing moisture from the air, it just was adding more, same with putting it on the heat setting. One real peculiar point is they lock the hotel lobby entrance from 6 AM until 10 AM. Why is the lobby entrance locked, requiring your room key during business hours, probably to keep out the homeless people who were using the pool as a bath! Why not fix the issue rather than inconvenience your guest!

Don’t stay here if you have a mental disability diagnosed by a doctor The stay at this location was saddening. Asked for late checkout and I was offered noon. As a person with autism when I read something that states differently and someone says something I ask for clarity. I then asked for the customer service line and Leah exact words were “google it”, I said you don’t have the number and she states that she googles it for her customers so I can google it. The front desk manager Leah thought my autism was me “being rude” (exact words used). Leah states I was being disrespectful and yelling however myself nor Leah never raised any voices. So I informed Leah that I have autism, a mental disability and apologized for being mentally disabled. I went back to my room then walked back to ask for the managers information, although Leah states that she is the manager and I can leave my complaints with her, I chose not too. Then Leah tells me there is a witness and she is no longer comfortable and I need to stay away from the front desk and she is calling the police. So I stepped back and sat in the lobby while awaiting the police arrival because in order to get back to my room on the first floor because I did not want to pass the front desk and be arrested. The police came and police offered states the front desk offered me 1pm late check out and gave me another key stating that this key is good until 1pm as they de-activated the key to the room I already paid for. Police said I could return to my room. I called the Hilton customer service to ask for a refund due to all the stress as one should not have to apologize for being autistic. The customer service agent Ramon stated that the front desk clerk Leah was not aware I have a mental disability and I should have told her, however that is exactly what happened. I told Leah early on I have autism and apologized for not being normal. I would like my room refunded Hampton Inn. Discrimination towards a guest that has a mental disability and then insist that I disclose this and I did however there is no policy or law that states any health information be disclosed to your hotel. I’ve been a diamond member for over 3 years, so it’s not like hotel stay is new to me and I’m not a constant complainer or ask for money back. I am sorry Hampton inn that I have autism and I was born this way, believe me I would rather be normal.

Multiple requests for towels ignored Requested room cleaning and extra towels the first day. No response. Went to desk that evening and was given two scratchy striped towels and told there were no hand towels or face cloths available. Next day same request and result. This time we were told the cleaners had quit and were slacking on the laundry. 3rd day cleaners came changed sheets brought towels but no face cloths or hand towels dod nit empty trash fitted sheets don’t fit. Left room temp at 65 on a cold 50 degree day. It never warmed up. No waters given had to go down to desk to request hand towels and face cloths. Finally someone was working who knew where they were! The cleaners also came super early and spoke exactly zero English. It took 20 minutes to communicate so they would return is little later so we could finish getting ready and leave.

Uncomfortable bed This must be a very busy hotel as I could not get the preferred floor I wanted. Mobile check-in for Hilton brands is always great, and I can usually choose my room, but because it was sold out I was unable. Good breakfast to start, small gym with a bike, treadmill, elliptical and some free weights. Mini fridge in the room. There is no channel guide on the television and you cannot what channel you are on. Instead, there is a QR code to find channels, but still no guide. Wall unit HVAC, and if you are sitting at the desk, it blows directly in the side of your face. My mattress was well-worn as it was lower on the sides and higher in the middle. Either the mattress or frame squeaks when I moved. The outlets on the nightstand were not working. I can also hear the toilets flushing from above. There is not any restaurants in walking distance unless you're Forest Gump, and not much else close.
