Perfect location The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is excellent. The rooms are comfortable with good amenities although a kettle and tea or coffee would be welcome. The breakfast that was included was very, very good. Great selection of items and a lovely setting.

Heliopark is a “BAD” hotel Experience starting at check in was terrible. Person on night reception spoke very poor English. Couldn’t understand him. No hotel parking. Closest parking was 100 metres & no daily maximum. 1.5 Euro/hr. Cheaper parking was 300 metres at 20 Euro daily. No valet parking. No umbrellas available to borrow - only for purchase with cash. Couldn’t be charged to room. Cost was 7.50 Euro. It was a large golf size umbrella, which was nice, but unfortunately couldn’t take it home with us. Hotels should consider charging a deposit to use the umbrella or if purchase is required, the umbrella should be travel size. Room decor was historical. Large wardrobe in room rattled every time you walked in the room. Beds weren’t made. Duvet folded & put on top of bed. Felt like a dormitory. Beds uncomfortable. Minimal toiletries in bathroom. Water in faucet not drinkable (sign posted) & no bottled water provided. Wifi kept on cutting out. And you had to go through the entire sign-on procedure to login each time. Drapes didn’t close, making it difficult to sleep when daylight came. Breakfast selection & quality was adequate but nothing special. Gluten free bread is available upon request. Staff was pleasant. Hotel doesn’t have bellmen to help with luggage. Daria at reception for check out was very nice.

Great Location, Beautiful Ambiance, But Missing Something Having just stayed at a very basic property, I was excited to enjoy the historic feeling at this property. It is in a great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff was nice, the breakfast very good, but it just seemed to be missing any special touch. I had a good stay, but wasn't able to put a finger on what was missing.

Not particularly good. Had a two week holiday covering several locations in Germany, Baden-Baden was the last place we stayed in for four nights & this was the Hotel we stayed in. Baden-Baden is beautiful a very attractive spa town, which we enjoyed very much, sadly the hotel did not live up to our expectations. The public areas are pleasant enough our room 216 on the 2nd floor was absolutely awful, the smell was horrible, particularly in the cupboards. The room was full of moths and other bugs, the bed was horrendously uncomfortable and the room had cobwebs. The breakfast is rather basic and limited in choice. Finally although the location is fairly central in the old town it is impossible to get to by car, car parks are either expensive and reasonably close buy or reasonably priced but about a mile away and not ideal if you have luggage and the hotel do not offer to help. I would love to go back to Baden-Baden but not to this hotel.

Goood location and quiet room but worst staff ever I had a nice room on the top floor very silent but not clean. The side tables were full of dust as well as the drawers and the floor was not clean. The bath was only cleaned twice in 2 weeks. The staff is very aggressive. It is a Russian / Ukranian owned hotel and most of the people working there are Ukranian. The breakfast looks ok at first but it is always the same and the ingredients are not good. Most of it is frozen food.
