105 Degrees And The Air In The Room Was NEVER Turned On Until We Got To The Room Our stay at the Hourglass Hotel was extremely disappointing, particularly due to the lack of basic comfort and customer service. We arrived on a scorching day with temperatures reaching 105 degrees, only to find that the air conditioning in our room had not been turned on. Being on the 2nd floor, the room was unbearably hot, and it took until around midnight for the air conditioning to finally cool it down, despite the system running at full blast. The discomfort was compounded by the fact that we had to get fans out of our truck to help keep our dog cool, as we were driving back from California to Indiana. The front desk offered no assistance or solutions to the problem, and when I reached out to corporate, I was informed that they could do nothing because the hotel is independently owned. This lack of accountability and support was very frustrating. While the room itself was large and nicely appointed, the failure to turn on the air conditioning in such extreme heat is unacceptable. This experience left us very disappointed and made our stay far from enjoyable. Based on this experience, we will not be returning to the Hourglass Hotel. It's a sad end to what we had hoped would be a pleasant stay.

The room smelt so bad! My husband and I were looking for a pet friendly hotel to stay the night while road-tripping to wa state. I figured there would be a slight smell since it is pet friendly, but the smell inside our room was horrendous. A mixture of urine and mildew. I did not sleep well because I could not get used to it. Left feeling dirty. The room was relatively clean, but will not return due to the smell.

Banquet Room Rental We hosted a baby shower for my sister in the Iron Oak Banquet Room. Aaron, the sales manager, was SO helpful from start to finish! He was very easy to work with and made himself available whenever we needed anything on the day of and was quick to respond to any questions we had leading up to the event! On top of that, the room was clean, the price was comparable, and the hotel staff was friendly. We will definitely host more events there! Great experience!

Great Hotel balcony is a vibe, the bed is comfortable as well as the pillows. I like the soap & lotion dispenser its very handy. Bathroom was really nice. I enjoyed the tv & how it has cable. I also like how you guys have wifi thats a good perk for people visiting.

Aaron R was great! Aaron R on the front desk was super helpful and friendly, he got me sorted with a room quickly and when my key didn’t work (which happens) I had barely got through the lobby door again and he had another one ready! Very efficient and a pleasure to book with and he got me everything I wanted and more!
