Sunday, June 18th, 1 night stay. My wife and I stayed 1 night. Visiting nearby Devils Lake State Park. We arrived late, around 10:30pm. The young woman working the front desk was wonderful. She was quite friendly, and helpful. And a joy to visit with. You are lucky to have her as an employee. Our room was on the first floor, just around the corner from the front entrance, entering by door 5. Our room was clean and comfortable. It looked good, and it smelled good. Everything worked fine. The beds were comfy. This is another hotel that I like. It’s a bit older, but it is well built, and has character. And another one that in its hey day, was quite the place. And it is still a very good place. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel. We were unable to check that out. On the walk from our room to the front desk, and the breakfast room, you pass by a rather nice event room. Either 1 large event room, or looks like it can be divided into perhaps 3 smaller rooms. Very cool! The breakfast room was very nice. And I noticed that the breakfast room was well monitored, and supplied, by a very nice lady. It was a very good breakfast. Including 3 hot items that I really like. Scrambled eggs, sausage links, and potatoes. And the quality of all 3 were quite noticeable to my wife and I. The quality being much better than a lot of our hotel stays. So we did enjoy the breakfast offerings. We had a very nice 1 night stay. And the price was quite good for a Sunday evening. We would certainly look at this property again if we were to make another visit to the area.

Never Go There Unless You Want A Rude Front Desk Member To Greet You I walked in and was wondering where the elevator was and the guy at the front desk was wondering how he could help me in a "you are a nuisance to me" tone. I asked for the elevator directions and he directed me, but after I was done doing my thing and was leaving the building I heard him say something along the lines of "yeah, go out and get some sunlight you wh*re" or "shine your head some more" or something of the sort, implying that I was a vampire or something, which I did not like whatsoever. My conclusion? Even as a guest? I would not recommend this hotel, I'd rather stay at Best Western or a Days Inn than that place.

Weekend Stay to Visit Area Visiting area for the weekend. Nicely located hotel for Baraboo and short drive to the Dells and Devil’s Lake State Park. Hotel is in a quiet area, no Road noise in room. Room was a bit dark, only a couple of sim lamps to light it but it was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and everything worked. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Front desk was friendly and helpful.

Accomdations OK - Breakfast/coffee are awful! Our room at this aged Clarion was "acceptable/just OK"... Clean - Yes. But incredibly very worn and dated. The water was hot. The AC was loud but working. The adjacent and attached Italian Restaurant and Bar were also in the "acceptable/just OK" category....BUT the "Free Included Breakfast" was inedible. The coffee was dirty water. If I could rate the breakfast it would be a ZERO!

Clean, friendly and convenient Friendly hotel staff (restaurant too)! Room was clean and had everything I needed (and more!). Location was good too- several food options within walking distance, Walgreens and Kwik Trip were very close as well. I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area.
