Perfect unplanned stay Our hotel cancelled our reservation and didn’t bother let us know till we arrived at 12am and zero help getting room elsewhere. At the adjacent hotel, also full, the proactive hotel manager called Comfort Suites and they had rooms! We came across the street to CS and got a room! Young lady at the Front Desk was super helpful at such a late hour and the beds were… comfortable! CS is that good friend who’s got your back even when you don’t know !

Run, fast. I don’t know if I’ve ever had a worse experience at a hotel before. Upon arrival my booking was incorrect and I was told I would be charged $100 extra for my stay. While I was trying to check in the very rude manager started helping another guest who walked in the door and come pleat Lee ignored the fact that I was standing there trying to get checked in. Not only was this insulting to our group, but it made the other guest so uncomfortable that he decided to cancel his reservation and go elsewhere. When we got our room keys one of the keys didn’t work which caused some issues in when we went to get them fixed another key also didn’t work for a second time. The TV in our room had been previously unhooked and wasn’t working and we had to call them up to fix it. Our phone was also messed up and the directories on it was incorrect and we couldn’t get a hold of the front desk. On one of our final evenings I was woken up by the phone at about 5 AM and shortly after that was followed by two other guests walking in our room at 5:30 and not only shocking but waking up everyone in the room. I called the front desk to let them know what happened and they said they were aware and they were just sorry. Upon leaving that morning I also spoke to someone about it downstairs and we had to get new keys made again because they were wiped ours giving them to the other guests. The following morning upon checkout I tried to speak to a manager again about the situation and she wasn’t there. I have called for the next three days and never got a callback, and then I called today and the manager actually answered herself and told me she was aware but it wasn’t worth calling me over. She only offered a 10% discount for the one night and wouldn’t do anything else. She also tried to put the blame on us saying we should have locked our room and it wouldn’t of happened. She kept trying to make excuses and keep putting the blame on us and I just feel that is totally unacceptable. I feel if a person walks into someone else’s room unannounced that is a recipe for bad things to happen and luckily the people in my room and the two guests were all equally as shocked and those people apologized and ran out of the room. I stay in Baytown every year and this is my first time at this hotel and I promise you it will be my last. I’ve never met a more rude and unhelpful hotel manager in all of my stays over the years, and the fact she wasn’t even willing to give me a call to talk about the situation and offers nearly no compensation for all of our issues Tells me how poorly that place is ran. Upon trying to check into the hotel another guest walked in and the manager completely ignored me and started to help him try to check in, and when I ask if she was just done helping me out the other guest started apologizing to me. I told him it was not his fault and she was just rude and inconsiderate. The guest himself was so shocked by her poor level of service that he canceled his stay and left to go find another hotel to stay at. If we would’ve had the option to go to our usual hotel across the street I would’ve paid any amount of money to stay there over wasting my money at this establishment. The discount she gave me doesn’t even cover the extra they charge me for the room for my initial booking, so I still paid more money at the end of the day then I would have originally and I also had someone walk in my room and wake us all up. I advise anyone reading this to stay elsewhere, it would definitely be worth the money.

Just fine We had stayed at a comfort inn in Crestview the night before , so felt comfortable selecting this Baytown chain. While it’s beginning to look ready for an update, it was fine. We have a dog and had to pay an additional charge for him but it was a large, comfortable room and very clean. It had a great mattress and the breakfast was normal rather than a grab and go sack. This was a much better choice than the pet friendly nearby which we had used a month ago. We would definitely use this hotel again.

Very Pleasantly surprised Though having visited family in Baytown for over 25+ years, had never stayed in the Garth Rd. area. We tried it this time, and were very pleased with location, and with this property. Location is easy off / on for I-10, and multiple dining choices within few minutes drive of motel. Staff friendly and helpful, with appropriate Covid precautions. Facility was bright, with wide well-lit hallways and common areas. Room was clean, with a wonderful water pressure and showerhead. Neither noisy, nor quiet. Breakfast buffet, of course, not available, but with limited selection of a few pastries, this facility, regrettably, was the least pleasing breakfast option of our entire two-week road trip. Room rate was moderate, though not a bargain. However, tax burden of state, city, county, occupancy, and sales totaled just over 17%, making this total cost not a good value overall.

Would stay here again Would not hesitate to stay here again. Was right off the highway and easy to find. Clean, spacious rooms. Chick-Fil-A and HEB right down the road, what more do you need? We picked up some Chik-Fil-A and had supper by the pool while the kids swam. Also got some groceries for our the next leg of our journey. We needed a hotel that would sleep six, near the airport, and had good reviews, and this was one of the only ones that fit the bill. Competitive price as well. The drive is only 30 minutes to the airport. My only complaints are that the pool was quite cold and the breakfast didn't have anything healthy, so we skipped it.
