Worst experience EVER Absolutely the worst stay ever! I paid for the room 3 months early for a wedding that was being held there and my 1 ask was that i was away from elevator, NOPE we were literally the room directly at it. We heard the elevator run every couple minutes. The motor must have been next to our wall. The photo i saw when i booked was a room with marina view and balcony, i had the very back room facing the parking lot and large shipping containers in lot. The patio was about big enough to just stand on if we were smokers, which we are not. When i went to talk to the manager, Ramal, he told me that if you book third party you get whats left over after the others book rooms!!!!! Who in the h*ll says that to a paying customer? Then here is the icing on the cake, there is a drain hole about 7" with a plastic circle cover that was sunk down about an inch right outside of the restaurant/bar door, needless to say i tripped and fell and landed on both knees. Hurt so bad. This was all right before the wedding so i needed bandaids so we went to the front desk. When we told them what happened she said OK! Wait what?? Okay? Not are you ok, just ok. *update* Next day knee is bruised too_

Smells like feet I've stayed at the Doubletree many times over the years. It still has some key parts of its charm. The lobby goes out to a nice, yet windy outdoor area that is great for hanging out. And the restaurant is nice. But the room are so far gone. The lack of ventilation, which has been an issue for years is only getting worse. Not even fans in the bathrooms. In that damp environment the whole building, hallways, rooms, everywhere smells like feet. The AC/Heat is old and also has a smell when it clicks on. And the towels smell like bleach. Their pool/hot tub gets overuse to the point of being unsanitary. Too much activity going on in the parking lot. A number of guys just hanging out, not a good look. I think this last stay is my last unless they do a major overhaul. And $40 for parking is outrageous.

Beautiful View of the Marina I was at Berkeley for a conference, and stayed at this property for a night before moving to another hotel, provided by the conference host. The location on the Marina is beautiful. No complaints about the room or service. I loved their breakfast. I did not get an opportunity to avail any of their amenities though.

Beautiful location, very friendly staff The staff is absolutely amazing. They’re uniformly hospitable, nice, friendly and always handing out cookies. I can’t remember everybody’s name but Tanzania and Pamela in the store really stand out. There’s plenty of parking though they charge you for it. It’s on the marina, which is absolutely beautiful. But the rooms are quite rundown. It needs a redo and fast.

Don’t believe the pictures posted on Hilton website Don’t believe the pictures! Arrived at property and immediately it felt unsafe and not clean. I asked upon check-in if I could see the room first. Receptionist said no and I had to pay in full first. This should have been my first red flag. The room was dirty, dark, and musty smelling. Went back to the front desk, where there was now an ambulance. This was my second red flag. Explained the room was unacceptable and I didn’t want to stay. The lady said I had to talk to her manager. It was SO BAD I walked out for my own safety. Don’t stay here!
