Hash Bash Stay I travel frequently and have been a Diamond member for over ten years. This was my worst stay I can recall. Only reason for two stars was the nice check in lady upon arrival. Otherwise, this hotel gets one star. Stay here if you enjoy a contact buzz from marijuana fumes in the halls on all three floors which then enter your room through the bathroom vents or under the hall door. Stay here if you like the house keeper guy vacuuming the halls at 9:49 pm at night – asked him to stop as I was sleeping – attitude back “I am doing my job” and continued to vacuum. Breakfast had no oatmeal – never made any yet had the brown sugar, raisins and walnuts out – informed staff “I don’t work breakfast”. Coffee ran out, again informed staff. Waited and waited, only got half a cup from the new pot before it ran dry. Brought the weed issue to Taylor, the AGM, and she offered no solution. Emailed Melanie, the GM, and she was responsive but did tend to be dismissive and gaslighted me at times. Received a welcome email from Shannon, the area Director of Sales. I included her on all this and she never replied. I was going to check out early but due to my business plans, that was unfeasible. GM did give me points (geez thanks), however I am highly allergic to weed smoke, so it was an unhealthy situation for me. Same trip, I am now staying at a Hampton Inn in Yonkers NY. No weed smoke anywhere, oatmeal and coffee available for breakfast. Happy as a clam – it’s the simple things.

HORRIBLE This is the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. I am a gold Hilton member, and I travel to this hotel approximately five days a month for work. When I was recently checking into my hotel, I was told I was unable to check in until I paid the incidental fees from prior my previous stay. The guy at the front desk told me that there was a note that I vomited in a bag of linens and had to pay approximately $300 fee, or I was unable to check into my hotel. I told him that I did not vomit in any linens or at all for that matter and this is a complete mistake on their part. He then called his “manager” to discuss matters further and she said there’s no way I can check in until I pay the fee. I then asked if I could speak to her on the phone and when I looked at the phone, it said “Mom“ which was pretty funny to me. I then said that she has this all wrong and maybe she should talk to her housekeeping staff about this as they may have done it or made a mistake. She then laughed at me on the phone and said “my housekeeping staff did not do this. There’s nothing I can do.” Mind you, I have my dog with me and I am already 45 minutes late for work at this point due to this encounter. I had nowhere to go as they told me I cannot check into the hotel without paying the fee and I’m not paying a fee or something I did not do. I also asked why they wouldn’t contact me a week ago when this supposedly happened and why they waited until I got to the hotel to check in to bring this to my attention. I was also later made aware that they emailed my company a few days prior telling them that I did this without even talking to me. This made me look really great to my company. I had to leave the hotel and find a new hotel to bring my dog to so I can get to work by 9-10 at night. I was then approximately three hours late for work and I’m a healthcare worker so that is a pretty big deal as there are patients waiting for me to get there. The manager told me she would call me in the morning after they check the cameras. She then called me and left a message stating they checked the cameras and there was a huge mistake, she gave me 20,000 points which is pretty minimal compared to the amount of money I lost as I missed three hours of work, not to mention the stress I went through an embarrassment by both people in the lobby as well as my company. I was scheduled to be there the following week so I kept my booking. When I went into the lobby, I recognized the lady’s voice at the front desk which was the manager I spoke with (Her name is Amanda). I asked her if there was anything else they were going to do as they treated me like complete garbage not to mention made me miss three hours of work which is $450. She then said “I can’t give you any money.” I said I don’t want any money but maybe more Hilton points or something will suffice. She said Hilton only lets us give a certain amount of points. I said well maybe Hilton doesn’t know what you guys did to me. She then said “you can check out right now and go somewhere else if you’d like.” I said “OK yeah I’m gonna check out and go to another hotel yet again because of your mistakes.” She then said “I can have you escorted out if you’re going to cause a scene.” I then laughed and walked away. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever experience. This lady is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Will never be returning to this hotel or any Hilton for that matter. And this is someone who travels 5-6 times per month.

Not good in anyway possible. They wanted me to leave a review. This hotel is horrible. The worst part is we walked into a suite with a dishwasher full of dirty dishes we wanted to prepare dinner in the suite as we arrived around 5:00 p.m. but with no clean dishes pots or pans we ran the dishwasher and left. We also booked what they called a premium one bedroom suite that listed extra perks like upgraded coffee K-Cups in the suite along with a stocked frigerator of drinks and snacks stocked daily. Of course this had a little bit of a higher rate but we figured $15 extra night would be worth it. Well we got none of that. When I talked with the front desk I was told I could take $10 worth of overpriced items from the little store. So for a two nights day I paid $30 extra to get $10 of overpriced items in a little store plus didn't get any upgraded K-Cups or coffee machine as advertised. There is not a trash can in the suite at all not one in the kitchen not one in the bathroom no trash can. The TV in the bedroom doesn't work. The lamp in the living room has a burnt out light bulb with burn marks around it. There is dust on every upper surface. The carpets are nasty dirty especially in the hallways and elevators. The wallpaper in the hallway of the hotel is literally falling off the wall. The pool was closed without any notice again one of the reasons we picked this hotel. Going to the shower The communal large amenities shampoo body wash etc ..empty. We noted in the reservations we would need the pull out bed so we requested the sheets for the sofa bed, of course they were not in the room. When I pulled out the sofa bed once I had to go to the front desk and carry the sheets to my room myself The mattress of the sofa bed was stained with urine. Maybe this comes with a premium I'm not sure. Breakfast was an absolutely nasty uneditable affair. I'm pretty convinced the bacon was a dog treats. Everything was dirty. I went to the lobby bathroom and it looks like that place hasn't been cleaned in days. It's a very classy establishment when you have boxes of toilet paper piled up in the lobby. I politely asked the front desk agent who knew the hotel had issues but was powerless to speak to the manager and I was told there are no managers till Monday. I asked for the contact information of the manager and I was provided the housekeeping supervisors business card. Clearly by the looks of this property the housekeeping managers and supervisors don't know how to do their job so why would I want to talk to them but I guess the manager is also a failure because this hotel is a total S show. Do not stay at this property It is old it is rundown they don't care they advertise things they don't provide and then there is no one running the asylum. Allegedly Homewood suites has 100% money bag guarantee.

Fantastic service!!! A big shout out to Nick, Emmanuel and the rest of the crew who made my stay exceptional. When my original room was not as clean as I would have liked it, Nick immediately put me in a different room with no fuss or convincing needed. I asked for housekeeping service after normal hours my second day, and even though the housekeeper wasn't available, Emmanuel stepped in and cleaned the room immaculately. We only requested the towels be picked up and replaced, but the the bed was also perfectly made and other light touches completed. I highly recommend this hotel.
