We like this hotel and it is a good location for us to stop for a few hours rest. We arrived Friday night late .. April 26, the clerk on the desk was extremely nice and we had a good conversation. We were in a king room, nice but linen was dirty. We were tired and I didn't want to go back to the desk and ask for a different room. When we checked out at 6am the same clerk was still working but I didn't say anything we were leaving anyway.

The Unexpected Growing up as a little girl my mom would tell me if you have nothing Nice to say say nothing at all unfortunately I didn’t always listen to my mother ha ha so my husband and I drove 11 hours from the state of New Jersey to Bishopville South Carolina as we approach the hotel room we noticed that it was directly across from the waffle house it was 4 o’clock in the morning and it was resemblance of a hip hop strip club video …..as we enter the hotel room we were greeted with hairs in the bathroom sticky substance on the floor cigarette holes in the sheet I guess I do not have to go any further I would suggest that you look for a more comparable affordable clean and sanitary environment to lay your head in addition to the next morning when I woke up my lips are swollen and I had to go get medication I would definitely hope that someone in corporate reads this so that you can represent the best red roof Inn or either abandon the one in Bishopville thank you

Beware of the roaches. The ones with four legs. The wash cloths had stains on them and felt like sandpaper. There was no coffee maker in the room. Saw two roaches one dead one alive. I’ll never be back. I’ve stayed at a lot of red roof Inn‘s, and this one was the worst.

One-Night Stay on Way Home from NOLA Unfortunately, ended up staying here the night Hurricane Dorian hits the coast of SC. Coming home from NOLA vacation, most hotels in Columbia SC area either WAY expensive or sold out. Needless to say, have some good and bad to say. GOOD: place to sleep for the night. Bead somewhat comfortable. BAD: Overpriced. Paid $98 for a $55 room due to close to being sold out. Room in need of upgrading. Did NOT feel too safe in the area. Lesson learned: when traveling that far, have hotel reservations IN ADVANCE (which I usually do; bad on me.)
